BREAKING: MN Democratic Sen. John Hoffman and Democratic House Rep Melissa Hortman & their spouses have been shot overnight by someone impersonating a police officer, sources confirm to @FOX9. A search now ongoing for the suspect in the Brooklyn Park area. fox9.com/news/brooklyn-…

A shelter-in-place is in effect in Brooklyn Park for the 3-mile radius around the Edinburgh Golf Course. The suspect is armed and dangerous. The suspect is a white man with brown hair wearing black body armor over a blue shirt and blue pants and he may be impersonating police.

Brooklyn Police says do NOT open your door unless *two* officers are at the door and you can confirm their identities.

Our @AmyHockert with live developments on @FOX9 right now via sources: one suspect is in custody and police are looking another suspect. The suspects were impersonating police at the time of the shootings and appeared to leave the scenes in a car that looked like a police car.

A brief timeline:

-1st shooting was @ 2am at Sen John Hoffman’s home in Champlin. Hoffman & his wife were shot. Suspects impersonated police.

-2nd shooting was at Rep Melissa Hortman’s home in Brooklyn Park. She & her spouse were shot. 1 suspect taken into custody. 1 on the run

BREAKING: Robert Aaron Long pleads guilty to the Atlanta spa shootings during a court appearance in Cherokee County this morning. He is sentenced to life without parole.

He now waits for a court appearance in Fulton County.

These are the 8 people Long admitted to killing in the Atlanta spa shootings in March.

Trump now wants Georgia Governor Brian Kemp to resign because he’s an “obstructionist” who won’t “admit” Trump won Georgia.

Note: Trump did not win Georgia. The state counted ballots three times and each time, Joe Biden won. #11Alive

Trump also asked Gov. Kemp to call a special session and pick new electors.
