SitRep - 19/06/25 - Another group of POWs returned

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. As part of the Istanbul agreements, another group of Ukrainian defenders have returned. Some of them were captive since 2022.

As usual we start with Russian losses
Drones were shot down.
Ukrainian drones attacked the Volgograd air base.
Russian equipment taken out in a recent assault.
Several pieces of Russian equipment destroyed
During the day, rumors came out of Orenburg. Plumes of smoke and reports of drone impacts came in.
Destroyed Russain equipment after a Ukrainian strrike on a Russian column.
Lets continue with the general events. Putin again made ridiculous remarks, blaming others and making Russia a victim.
The much talked about US sanctions bill? Postponed. They all bow to Trump.
Russia keeps destroying Ukraine, killing its people.
The EU wants to do more risky investments with profits from Russian proceeds in order to get more revenue from it.
Zelensky honored the memory of those killed in Kyiv recently.
Sybiiha said that Russia keeps refusing ceasefires.
Zakharova said that a new round of talks could become reality after June 22.
A new group of Ukrainian POWs returned. Some of them were captive since 2022.
Ukraine is testing out new technology against KABs.
North Korea keeps aiding Russia.
Shapovalov was appointed near Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Ground Forces.
Zelensky repeated: we want this war to end. But Putin simply refuses.
