A condensate of how @TSNUA and did *not* do its homework prior to promoting the lies of the so-called Georgian Legion's so-called "commander", Mamuka Mamulashvili.
As per the statements by @DI_Ukraine and @DefenceU, he is actually a civilian and there is no such unit the AFU. 🧵
Source 1. Since this was published, Mamuka and the GL trolls army have repeatedly alleged that Hromadske and/or the article's authors work for russian propaganda and made up the comments from GUR and Ground Forces. Except... 👇 hromadske.ua/suspilstvo/235…
Source 2. A few months after the previous article, GUR published this statement on their website and socials, which passingly destroyed GL's claims that they were a unit in GUR. Now, of course GL says that they never claimed to be part of GUR. 🙃 gur.gov.ua/content/zaiava…
Actually, GL did state multiple times that they were a unit in GUR, including in two articles that are still up on their own website. 🤡 Don't bother deleting them now, screenshots as forever.
Another example from @24tvua last November, just a month before the Hromadske article, of bold lies uttered only to distract from the scandal surrounding GL. en.24tv.ua/ru/we-are-figh…
Another example? Another example.
April 2024, Mamuka's interview on @TVPWorld_com. Again, claiming that GL is a unit under both (somehow?) ZSU and GUR.
One can imagine how badly GL's fee-fees were hurt when they later admitted what GUR had rendered unambiguous. 👌 tvpworld.com/84796460/ukrai…
Besides such minor details as stolen valour in the middle of a war to defraud donors, I have one more question to @TSNUA.
Why are you uncritically letting Mamulashvili dox and peddle character attacks, dangerous accusations of treason against GL's critics?
While the entire video purports to present established facts, there is one noteworthy exception:
"[Mamulashvili] showed me lists of pseudo-journalists and volunteers he's ***convinced*** are working for the kremlin."
My guess? @tsnua knows that they could get sued for this.
Does @tsnua realize that their journalist, Oksana Radionova, is following both GL and Mamulashvili on Instagram?
Out of sheer coincidence I'm sure, she locked her profile yesterday. Quick reaction, but not quick enough to avoid screenshots.
Of course, since Mamuka showed her a list of people on his phone who called out GL on Twitter, the official GL accounts and their paid troll army are pretending to believe that all their critics are "identified and under investigation" by the SBU. 🤡
Anyway, I guess we're back to waiting for a predictible and unnecessary statement from @SOF_UKR that GL is not part of them either. Until then, the cowardly silent majority will keep casually downplaying the issue with a very russian "it's not so clear". 🚬
Feel free to keep yelling, obsessing over and doxxing me all you want, GL, I know you have nothing on me. I will always be back with receipts until it's clear to the public, court and army that you're bigger frauds than any Sord or Nazari. 👌
(end 🧵)

Highly recommended read for anyone who is still wondering whether McFaul's infamous tweet was right. (mini 🧵 but I recommend you read the PDF yourself!)
The next @POTUS has work cut out for her. Maybe now is the time to start working on correcting this shame, by tightening export controls AND supplying a meaningful number of 🇺🇸 F-16s.
Remember how sad #NAFOfellas were when @edwardmurrow666 left Twitter? The @georgian_legion "head adjutant" who escorted @apmassaro3 into Ukraine, worked with him and @AdamKinzinger to request aid to GL from the @DeptofDefense?
Remember when he was exposed as a complete fraud? 🌚
In case you don't, and I can't blame you with how quickly everyone swept it under the rug, here's a catch-up. This thread posted by @HunterofGrift a few months after "Ed" vanished (deleted, but saved by yours truly 🤓) sums up the character quite well.
Why was this kept silent?
That thread does not even begin to cover the extent of Sharp's pedigree. I don't get why this was not considered newsworthy, and how everyone simply accepted pitiful excuses in the tone of "oh, he was just some volunteer" and continued trusting GL. 🤦♂️
The main reason why @Twitter grew into the giant it was (until shamelessly sold to @elonmusk) is that it filled an important gap in public discourse. No other platform allowed small individual voices to have such a measurable effect, from culture to key state policy. 2/9
The trusted @verified process and formerly excellent API allowed a rare form of online trust to grow between users. These features constituted powerful passive barriers to disinformation and platform manipulation. No wonder why they were first to be put on the chopping block. 3/9
Yesterday at the Free russia Forum, everyone's eyes were on Arestovych who showered goodrussians with compliments, calling them heroes and Ukrainians "другий россияне" (other russians).
However, few paid attention to the man sitting next to him, smiling at his every word. 🧵

That would be Ilya Ponomarev, an ex russian MP. Poroshenko, by decree, granted him Ukrainian citizenship in 2019 despite his awful positions about Crimea, Maidan and Ukrainian identity. See what he wrote in 2014 on his LiveJournal.

He did not mince his words either in this interview with Anatoly Shariy - then a journalist at Radio Svoboda, nowadays a fugitive traitor to Ukraine.
It ticks all the boxes:
☑️ brotherly people
☑️ Crimea is russia
☑️ post-Maidan Ukraine bad
☑️ invading Georgia was legitimate
