The most powerful AI right now are the reasoning models.

But only 0.01% know how to unlock the full potential of o1, o3, Gemini 2.5, and Claude Sonnet 3.7.

That's why we created this cheatsheet to help you.

Here's everything you need to master prompt writing:
First, assign the model a thinking role.

This changes how it “shows up” mentally.

Examples:

- Strategy Consultant
- Logical Analyst
- Detective
- Policy Evaluator
- Research Synthesizer

The more specific the role, the sharper the output.
Next, give it a reasoning task.

This tells the model what kind of thinking to perform.

Try these:

- Tradeoff Analysis
- Root Cause Breakdown
- Ethical Scenario Assessment
- Heuristic Decision Tree
- Socratic Dialogue

Be explicit.
Then set mental constraints to make it think rigorously.

This is what separates “smart” from “strategic.”

Use constraints like:

- Step-by-step logic
- First principles
- Compare 3 POVs before concluding
- Show your reasoning trail

Avoid emotional language
Choose your output format.

Why? Because format shapes thinking.

Ask for:

- Flowchart
- Logic trail
- Table of pros/cons
- Decision matrix
- Compare/contrast chart
- Hypothesis tree

The model adapts to structure.
Now you’re ready to write the actual prompt.

Just use the R.E.A.S.O.N. formula:

R – Role
E – Evaluate
A – Ask Questions
S – Simulate
O – Output format
N – Narrow the scope

Every powerful prompt is a remix of these.
Here are a few plug-and-play prompt templates to try:

“Act as a logical analyst. Evaluate 3 options for [X]. Use only deductive reasoning and output a step-by-step decision matrix.”

“Compare 3 strategies to reach [goal]. Rank them by ROI, and explain using first principles.”
This cheatsheet works with all major reasoning models:

- GPT-4o
- Claude Sonnet 3.5 / 3.7
- Gemini 1.5 / 2.5
- Mistral
- Meta's LLaMA

It’s not about the model.

It’s about the mental structure you give it.

It’s over for overpriced online courses.

This one prompt turns any LLM into a personalized course creator, tutor, and mentor.

I tested it on 5 subjects. It’s insanely good.

Here’s how to try it:
Online courses are getting out of hand.

Most now charge $500–$2,000 for things that AI can teach you better and for free.

Here’s what you can now get from LLMs instead of a guru:

• A step-by-step curriculum tailored to your level
• Bite-sized lessons based on how much time you have
• Interactive Q&A sessions (just ask)
• Instant clarification on confusing topics
• Ongoing accountability and habit tracking prompts
Here’s the exact mega prompt we use:

"You are now my personal AI tutor.

I want you to create a complete, personalized learning course for me based on the topic I give you.

Here’s what I need you to build:

1. A custom curriculum with 4–6 modules that progress logically.
2. Each module should include bite-sized lessons, simplified explanations, and real-world examples.
3. Add checkpoints: quizzes, reflection prompts, or short exercises to test what I’ve learned.
4. Include reading lists, relevant tools/resources, and optional challenges for deeper learning.
5. Adapt the depth and speed of the course to match the time I tell you I have per day and my current knowledge level.
6. Stay friendly, clear, and focused like a world-class coach.

Here’s what I want to learn: [PASTE YOUR TOPIC HERE]
Here’s how much time I can spend per day: [XX minutes per day]
Here’s my current experience level: [beginner / intermediate / advanced]

Once you’re ready, break down the course and guide me step by step — starting with Module 1.

Gemini 2.5 Pro is insanely powerful.

I used it to automate research, content, code reviews, and more.

Here are 10 ways to use Gemini 2.5 Pro and automate your boring work:
1. Summarize long reports + PDFs like a top analyst

Skip 100+ pages in 10 seconds.

Mega Prompt:

"You are a senior analyst skilled in digesting technical and academic documents. Your task is to summarize the attached document into an executive briefing for a time-poor founder. Focus on extracting the most important findings, key data points, and strategic implications. Use simple language, bullet points, and bold headers. Avoid jargon. Format the output as a 1-page summary with a conclusion that includes suggested next steps or decisions."
2. Create full customer personas from raw survey data

Great for UX, product, and marketing work.

Mega Prompt:

"Act as a senior UX researcher at a SaaS startup. Given the following anonymized user survey data and analytics, generate 3 complete user personas. For each persona, include: Name, Age, Job Title, Goals, Pain Points, Tech Comfort Level, Daily Tools Used, and a short quote that represents their mindset. Group similar users into coherent archetypes. Format the output in a clean markdown layout."
