After the US strike on Iran earlier this week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Donald Trump agreed on a rapid end to the war in Gaza and expansion of the Abraham Accords. 1/4
Trump and Netanyahu agreed in their phone call that the war in Gaza would end within two weeks. Four Arab states, including the UAE and Egypt, would jointly govern the Gaza Strip in place of Hamas. The terror group's leaders will be exiled, and all hostages will be released. 2/4
They were joined on the "euphoric" call late Monday night by Marco Rubio and Ron Dermer.
Gazans who wish to emigrate would be absorbed by several unnamed countries. Saudi Arabia and Syria will establish diplomatic ties w Israel. Other Arab/Muslim countries will follow 3/4
Israel, for its part, will express its support for a future two-state solution, conditioned on reforms made by the Palestinian Authority. Meanwhile, the leaders agreed, Washington will recognize Israeli sovereignty in some parts of the West Bank. 4/4

Israel has some significant achievements in its campaign against Iran's nuclear program.

But success depends on its ability to strike one site - Fordo.

And Israel can't take it out from the air on its own.

Here's where the campaign stands:🧵
1) On Monday, Netanyahu listed many of Israel's achievements since last Friday:

Israel has taken out Iran's military leadership, struck ballistic missiles and launcher sites, destroyed half of Iran's UAVs, killed 10 top nuclear scientists and gained air superiority in west Iran
2) Israel began the campaign by striking Iranian air defense systems to allow the air force to operate freely.

Also, as of Tuesday the IDF announced that it wiped out 40% of Iran's ballistic missile launchers, but Iran still has abt 1800 missiles.

I just spoke to a senior Israeli official about what the next steps are in hostage release/ceasefire talks.

Here's what I can say - 🧵
Isr expects the release of the final 4 bodies from the 1st phase on Thursday.

Once that happens, Hamas has 3 options -
1) Accept Israel's demands - disarm, exile, give up rule - and move to the 2nd phase
2) Keep releasing hostages & maintain ceasefire
3) Go back to war
