Now a lot of children are going to die because you didn't do your homework and you did not properly study the evidence. Merck's RSV shot (clesrovimab, brand name Enflonsia) is genetically modified. Grown on Chinese hamster ovary cells. Injected into children. It caused increased mortality in clinical trials. But now if @SecKennedy accepts your recommendation it will have liability protection because it will be on the childhood schedule. Hiding behind semantics ('no, no, it's a monoclonal antibody') is NOT going to work here.

But that path has been riddled with failure (and children killed by RSV shots that caused original antigenic sin).

According to Restsef Levi, in the "MELODY" clinical trial there were 5 deaths in the treatment group and 0 deaths in the control group. In the "MEDLEY" clinical trial there were 5 deaths in the treatment group and 1 death in the control group. @RWMaloneMD doesn't know this because it wasn't spoon-fed to him by the CDC staffers. Retsef Levi explained this data to the committee and Malone ignored it in order to audition for a job with Big Pharma.
Both VAERS and FAERS show deaths from RSV shots currently on the market — if you know how to search the results.
And then in the SMART trial for Merck's RSV shot, there were 7 deaths in the treatment group and 3 deaths in the control group. Merck's RSV shot also led to increased upper respiratory tract infections and increased lower respiratory tract infections, the exact opposite of what you would want.
A question for the great doctor @RWMaloneMD: what's the Number Needed to Treat in order to prevent one death from RSV when the monoclonal antibodies you just recommended killed more children than doing nothing at all? It's infinite, right (technically undefined), you could inject this junk science product into all children born in the United States and prevent exactly zero deaths (actually cause death) according to the data from the clinical trials.
The fact is, Retsef Levi and Vicky Pebsworth did their homework and the rest of this MAHA-approved ACIP committee did not and now children are going to die from more Pharma junk science.
