@chuck247 @goddeketal You can't, Chuck. This is why one doesn't take part in pointless clinical trials.
You know that saying, "you can't unscramble an egg"? You're the egg. Sorry, buddy. Taking an experimental medicine is not like changing your clothes. You can't just un-take it.
@chuck247 @goddeketal Nobody, not even doctors, comes close to fully understanding how the human body works. You let somebody put an untested foreign substance into your own body, changing how it works in ways that nobody can fully understand.
This is why clinical testing is inherently risky.
@chuck247 @goddeketal If you then try to find a cure for what the first experimental drug did, what is the "cure" going to be other than another experimental drug?
Sometimes, you have to quit while you're behind. Just because things are bad, that doesn't mean they can't get worse.
@chuck247 @goddeketal Please ignore the inevitable crazy folk medicine solutions, including that of soaking your feet in bleach. I wish that was a joke, but no, I really saw somebody suggest that, somewhere else.
@chuck247 @goddeketal Physicians don't know everything (as they will tell you, themselves), but they still know a lot more about Medicine that do the randos on a social media site.
Please don't take their advice. At best, it's useless. At worst, it will end your life, horribly.
@chuck247 @goddeketal With any number of bad possibilities falling in between. No, find a reputable doctor, and be prepared for the possibility that this problem can't be fixed.
Sorry, but a lot of people did work very hard, trying to warn you to not do what you did. I wish you had listened.

@sighing_sadly @chicagolandish Interesting. The OP's handle did not create a link to his profile.
I can only view his behavior in this matter with great bewilderment. Who blocks another user in response to a compliment, and then tries to silence her?
@sighing_sadly @chicagolandish I imagine that my turn will come next and if so, whatever. Was Dave offended that we replied to his writing with writing of our own? Why would he have been surprised by that?
It was hardly a first, and we certainly didn't invent the practice.
@X_O_O_A_A @visegrad24 Meanwhile, Russia is sending ships to one of our neighbors (Cuba), sending a very clear message: "we get to do that which we'll forbid you to do, and threaten you with a nuclear attack over if you don't back down."
"Accept our double standard, or else."
@X_O_O_A_A @visegrad24 This is the point at which we should stop caring about the threats. Boots on the ground, massive response, wipe them out.
If the Russians want to respond to that, we have nuclear weapons, too. Enough is enough.
@X_O_O_A_A @visegrad24 We should kill every Russian bearing arms within Ukraine (Crimea included), and then invade Russia, taking as much land from the Russians as the Russians tried to take from the Ukrainians
Eject the population, after forcibly sterilizing it, and give the conquered land to Ukraine
@SMSREDD @StefanieMcMaken They keep doing these things, because we, as users, keep on refusing to punish them for doing so, even though we have a simple, easy and devastating way of doing so -
By boycotting Twitter and withholding content from the site.
@SMSREDD @StefanieMcMaken As an individual user, one can easily post the bare minimum needed to keep one's account from being deleted for inactivity (or less), until the company / Elon reverses the decisions we find objectionable.
@SMSREDD @StefanieMcMaken No real hardships for us, while we wait for them to cave in to pressure - we'll be out enjoying the fresh air and summer sunshine. But Twitter's market value will be in freefall, and Elon Musk's personal net worth with it.
@internetarchive@NThylstrup@nytimes Hello. The Wayback Machine is broken. When I go from an archived copy of a thread unroll to still existing tweets that are directly linked to from the unroll, I keep seeing this error message ...
"People like you shouldn't be on SM if they are so damn weak minded."
And you go on either not getting it, or more likely, t r o l l i s h l y pretending to not get it.
@Alex_Neverm1nd@HuukedOnFonix@Jtrap161@CultureCrave What are the odds that if I had done as your a s s h o l e buddy chose to do, and had ignored the context and took the time to cover every possible scenario, that you'd complain about the length of my response?
@liz_beybey@Phil_Lewis_ Liz. Water is a highly lossy medium. Getting the Internet down there would be some trick.
Not completely impossible, but highly impractical.
@liz_beybey@Phil_Lewis_ How would they do it? Run a cable down to the sub, and hope it didn't break or, worse, get tangled on something (like, say, a disintegrating shipwreck) and leave the sub trapped after it failed to disconnect?
@liz_beybey@Phil_Lewis_ I suppose one could have a series of little robotic microsubs and use them to set a series of relays, and hoping that they didn't fail too badly in their attempts to follow the minisub, at insane expense, give those onboard connection speeds that would take them back to the 90s.
