2 years ago I was informed I was a close contact of a close contact. I was in Canberra on a business mission.
My RAT was negative so I masked and got on the flight back to Perth. Made sure Dad was masked when he picked me up and we drove home with the windows open.
This AM two years ago I tested positive for the one COVID-19 infection that would destroy my life.
I was sick. Not sick enough to go to the hospital, but sick.
Friends dropped off Thai red duck curry. I later realised why I couldn’t stop eating spicy food. I’d lost my sense of taste and smell.
So new hair got over 100 likes yesterday, but anything related to illness #LongCOVID or #ME is usually ignored.
As today is the launch of @U2Fight_World, I thought it pertinent to post some stuff on plaguebook and see what happens:
PSA: you don’t need to read it, but I need to say it.
It upsets me to watch my friends getting repeat infections and some losing their Novid status.
I can only assume, while we are all adults, many have not kept up with current and emerging research about SARS-CoV-2.
It’s understandable, everyone is busy. I’m not busy anymore, so I spend what time I have learning about the virus and it’s ongoing effects on humanity.
