Another interesting insight from D45 research—

If Mercury is afflicted in D45,
it directly disturbs the Akash Tattva—the direction and intelligence flowing from the universe.
This chart reflects the Trinity's subtle guidance.
And Mercury here shows how your intellect aligns with cosmic order. Venus affliction would show senses in wrong directions.

When Mercury is heavily afflicted in D45,
the person’s buddhi can take wrong directions.
Now, how wrong and to what intensity will depend on the entire horoscope.
But this is a gray zone—and a serious one.

Anyone with such placements should rethink their decision-making,
their logic, their sense of right and wrong.
I'm attaching a few famous charts of individuals who committed serious crimes,
to show the patterns I'm referring to. 👇
Sarah María Aldrete, known as "La Bruja" (the witch), was a Mexican Satanist and accomplice in a gruesome cult led by Adolfo Constanzo that blended black magic, drug trafficking, and ritual murder. Once a standout student and aspiring physical education teacher, she descended into darkness after meeting Constanzo in 1987.
By 1989, their cult was linked to at least 25 ritualistic killings. Arrested in 1993, Aldrete was charged with 17 murders but convicted on only two counts, receiving six years in prison as further charges loomed.

Astrological Analysis (D45 Chart):

Mercury and Saturn – Both Retrograde:
Mercury is retrograde.
Saturn is also retrograde.
There is a mutual exchange (parivartana) between Mercury and Saturn, showing entanglement of karma and intellect.

Gemini Sign is Heavily Afflicted:
Saturn and Mars are both occupying Gemini.
Gemini is Mercury’s own sign—so Mercury is afflicted by the presence of these malefics.
This weakens Mercury significantly.

Mercury is Afflicted and Weak:
Mercury is retrograde and afflicted by malefics.
It lies within the Rahu–Ketu axis (Rahu and Ketu are in 7th from Mercury).
This shows karmic entrapment and distorted thinking.
Mercury in D20 and D45, when afflicted like this, is not praised—it causes internal disturbance.

Presence of Jupiter, Venus, Moon – But Very Weak:
These benefics are placed in the 10th house.
However, their Shadbala strength and placement in Vaishyakamsha is poor.
So, even though they are present, they do not have the power to uplift or balance the chart.

Dominance of Malefics:
Mars, Saturn, and Mercury are stronger in this chart.
Unfortunately, Mercury—the planet of intellect and inner balance—is the one most caught in affliction.Image
Nathaniel Bar-Jonah was one of America's most disturbing predators—a convicted child molester, cannibal, and suspected serial killer. After years in a facility for sexually dangerous persons, he resurfaced in Montana, where police later uncovered evidence of unspeakable crimes involving missing boys, cannibalism, and abuse. He died in prison in 2008, but the horror of his acts continues to haunt the families and communities he shattered.

Mercury’s Affliction –

Mercury is Placed in Leo:
Mercury sits in the sign of Leo
Leo is a fiery sign ruled by the Sun, and Mercury is not comfortable here.

Lord of the Sign (Sun) is in the 6th House from Mercury:
The Sun, lord of Leo, is positioned 6th from Mercury, which is a house of conflict, hostility, and imbalance.
This creates a dosha to the dispositor, weakening Mercury further.

Sun is Conjoined with Saturn and Affected by Mars:
The Sun is with Saturn, showing suppression, fear, and karmic heaviness.
The Sun is also aspected or influenced by Mars, adding aggression and pressure.
So, the dispositor of Mercury (Sun) is double afflicted—by both Saturn and Mars.

Malefics in Mercury’s Rashi:

Though Mercury is in Leo, Mars, Rahu, and Ketu are occupying Mercury’s signs (Gemini/Virgo), showing that Mercury's domain is under attack.

This reflects back on Mercury, showing scattered thinking, karmic distortion, and inner conflict.

Venus is Conjoined Mercury:

Mercury is closely joined Venus, the planet of desire, beauty, and sensuality.
Since Mercury is afflicted and its dispositor is also weak, Venus too gets pulled into this affliction.
This shows disturbed or unhealthy expression of desires and sexuality.Image

Over the years, many youngsters have asked me—with pain in their voice—

What should I do if my father has been cruel to me? If he never understood me, never supported me, and instead became the cause of my suffering?

I remember replying to such questions with as much compassion as I could. But just recently, someone asked me the same question again. And this time, I felt like bringing back a very old, very sacred answer.

Look at Prahlad 👇
Tell me honestly—has any father ever been as harsh as Hiranyakashyapu was to him? He tried to poison him, burn him, throw him from a cliff, crush him with elephants—and yet, Prahlad never stopped seeing him as his father. He never stopped praying for his liberation.
When Narasimha Bhagwan finally killed Hiranyakashyapu, did Prahlad celebrate?

No.
He folded his hands, bowed his head, and said:

If my father doesn’t attain Punyaloka, if he doesn’t get a good destination, then I too am a failure. I may be a devotee, but I am not a worthy son.
My dharma is to pray for his well-being—no matter what he did to me.

1.
Sometimes, life gives you exactly what you asked for…
just after you no longer want it.
And sometimes, even blessings arrive like burdens.
A story about one such man — and the karma that wouldn’t leave him.
🧵👇
2.
There was a Brahmin. A true sāttvik soul.
No desires, no greed.
He had only one wish — to see his daughter married with honour.
But he had no wealth.
So he went deep into Tapasya…
Not for himself, but for her.
3.
Years passed.
People in the village began to whisper, “Where is he? His daughter is still unmarried…”
Out of compassion, the villagers came together.
They arranged her marriage.
The wish was fulfilled — without a single rupee.

I’ve said this many times—whether I’m posting here on X or speaking on YouTube.

I’m always very conscious of what I write.
Every word is weighed.

I don’t write things to sound poetic.
I write what I have seen in life, in people, and yes—what I have found in shastra.
So when I say that your soul chooses your parents, or that your birth reflects your past-life tendencies,
I'm not pulling it out of thin air.

This is not a fantasy.
This comes directly from the Bhagavad Gita.
Let me show everyone- 👇
Bhagavad Gita 6.41

प्राप्य पुण्यकृतां लोकानुषित्वा शाश्वतीः समाः
शुचीनां श्रीमतां गेहे योगभ्रष्टोऽभिजायते॥

Translation:
The unsuccessful yogis, upon death, go to the abodes of the virtuous.
After dwelling there for many ages, they are again reborn in the earth plane, into a family of pious and prosperous people.

This verse directly tells us—birth is karmic.

A soul doesn’t land in a home by accident.

The nature of the family—its purity (shuchi) and prosperity (shrimat)—matches the inner quality of the soul.

That’s exactly what I meant when I said:

Sattvic souls choose sattvic parents. Tamasic ones, tamasic homes.
Bhagavad Gita 6.42

अथवा योगिनामेव कुले भवति धीमताम्
एतद्धि दुर्लभतरं लोके जन्म यदीदृशम्॥

Translation:
Else, if they had developed dispassion due to long practice of Yog, they are born into a family endowed with divine wisdom. Such a birth is very difficult to attain in this world.

The Gita here reveals something even deeper—
Spiritual evolution determines lineage.

Not wealth. Not status. But inner maturity.

If you carry deep yogic samskaras, you are born where those seeds can flower.

D45 has three Deities—Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh.
They are the Trideva—the forces behind Creation, Sustenance, and Destruction.

This chart shows how divine energies operate within us—through the balance of Satva, Rajas, and Tamas.

If the 5th or 9th lord of your Rashi chart is well placed in D45,
you’re likely receiving clear direction from the universe.

“Well placed” means:
– In own sign or exalted
– Connected to unafflicted Jupiter
Now, understand what affliction truly means:

A house is afflicted when:
1.Occupied or aspected by malefics
2.Owned by an afflicted planet
3.Repeats affliction in divisional charts

A planet is afflicted when:
1.It’s with or aspected by malefics
2.Placed in 6th, 8th, or 12th
3.Combust, debilitated, or in malefic signs
4.Weak or repeating affliction in divisional charts

D45 is not a casual chart—
It reveals how your soul is wired to receive divine guidance.
Read it carefully.
In the D45 chart of Swami Vivekananda, I used Sagittarius Lagna (same as his Rashi chart).

– The 5th lord (from Rashi) is exalted in the 2nd house (see red marking)
– The 9th lord is in its own sign, conjunct Saturn, and aspected by two benefics
This shows powerful divine direction in both intellect and dharma.

Also, his 10th lord Mercury is exalted in D45—
Clearly reflects his sharp karmic determination and brilliance in karma yoga.Image

Understanding Jaimini Sign Aspects (Rāśi Drishti)

In Jaimini astrology, aspects aren’t based on degrees—they operate through signs (Rāśis). Instead of planets looking at each other, it’s the signs that connect and influence one another. All planets within a sign carry that sign’s gaze.

Here are the true rules—easy and intuitive:
1.Movable signs (Chara: Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn)
➤ They aspect all four fixed signs, except the one right next to them.
• Example: Aries skips Taurus but aspects Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.
2.Fixed signs (Sthira: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius)
➤ They aspect all movable signs, except the sign immediately before them.
• Example: Taurus skips Aries but aspects Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.
3. Dual Signs (Dwiswabhāva Rāśis: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces)

→ Aspect all other Dual Signs

Each dual sign aspects all three other dual signs.
