Just got off the earnings call - great quarter and it was our (and my) 40th call as Alphabet.

August will mark 10 years since we announced Alphabet. Been thinking about the incredible growth in our new businesses since then - Cloud, YouTube, Play, Subscriptions etc. To give a sense of progress, in 2015 all of Alphabet’s revenue added up to $75B. YouTube and Cloud alone ended 2024 at an annual run rate of $110B.
Then there’s the remarkable evolution in Search. We’ve created entirely new ways to search like Lens + Circle to Search, and we keep incorporating our most advanced AI models. Now AI Overviews and AI Mode are reimagining the types of queries people can ask and we can answer. The side by side comparison is striking:

2/  Our differentiated, full stack approach to AI continues to be central to our growth.

Gemini 2.5, our most intelligent model yet, is providing an extraordinary foundation for our future innovation. Active users in AI Studio and the Gemini API have grown over 200% since the beginning of this year, driven by 2.5 Pro.
3/ Gemini is now in all 15 major Google products that have 500M+ users. AI Overviews in Search is now serving 1.5B+ users monthly and keeps getting better and we’re pleased with the positive early reaction to AI Mode, lots more to come.

And Gemini Live camera and screen sharing is now rolling out to all Android devices, including Pixel and Samsung S25.
