Jehovah Jireh - The LORD Our Provider
The Lord promises to provide ALL of our needs and that all we have to do is just trust (believe in) Him. That sounds very simple but it is also very deep. He provides all of our needs in ways that we don’t even understand. He provides for needs that we didn’t even realize we
needed and He also provides them right on time (He knew we would need them even before we did). All we have to do is trust and truly believe and He takes care of the rest in a very deep way. Here is a famous example:

13 Then Abraham looked up and saw a ram caught by its horns in
a thicket. So he took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering in place of his son. 14 Abraham named the place Yahweh-Yireh (which means “the Lord will provide”). To this day, people still use that name as a proverb: “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”

In yesterday’s devotional, I explored the idea that there is no fear in love and that God’s perfect love casts out fear. Yet the bible also teaches us in Proverbs 9:10 that “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.” Is this a contradiction? I would submit to you that it
