VP JD VANCE cast the tie-breaking vote after 3 RINOs defected.

2/ In a 51–50 vote, the Senate advanced Trump’s historic $9B rescissions bill—the biggest such package since 1989.

It nearly died.

Three GOP senators—Collins, Murkowski, and McConnell—voted against the cuts.

Then came JD Vance, breaking the tie.

3/ This is the first of many bills Trump's planning, using the Impoundment Control Act to claw back spending.

And it worked.

The bill:

🔹Cuts $7.9B from USAID
🔹Cuts $1.1B from NPR, PBS
🔹Preserves Trump’s authority to slash more waste by Aug. 1

4/ Trump’s win came despite heavy resistance:

👎 Collins: “I won’t cut global health programs.”
👎 McConnell: “Soft power matters.”
👎 Murkowski: “Think of the tribal radio stations.”

They stalled, whined, and nearly tanked it.

These RINOs have to go.

5/ The bill now returns to the House.

🔥 House conservatives are mad about one change:
The Senate dropped needed cuts to PEPFAR, Bush’s increasingly bloated HIV program.

But the rest of the DOGE-identified cuts remain intact.

And Speaker Johnson says: “Get it done.”

6/ Trump made it clear going into the vote:

“Any Republican who votes to keep funding NPR & PBS will not have my support or Endorsement.”

This vote exposed who’s serious about draining the swamp—and who’s not.

Primaries are coming.

7/ The Senate passed one of the biggest spending cuts in 40 years—by 1 vote.

Trump’s MAGA agenda is working.

More cuts are coming. The concept is now proven. DOGE is happening.
