🧵1/8: SMOKE AND MIRRORS - Adam Schiff, Habitual Russia, Russia, Russia Peddler - Gets an A for consistency- too bad it’s consistent LIES:
Of course, Adam Schiff is out here today banging on about the firing of Maurene Comey (James Comey's daughter), his old Russia hoax ally. And 3 hours ago, he posted about the irony of Trump-world conspiracy theories now backfiring on him, with media facing similar extortionary pressures that Trump used to extract settlements from ABC and CBS. Still mocking "conspiracies" instead of owning his lies. Oh, the irony of the irony. 🙃
He's, of course, silent on DNI Gabbard's bombshell declass last night: Obama officials BURIED intel showing Russia DIDN'T interfere, then manufactured fake assessments post-election to frame Trump.
Since he's deflecting from the real hoax, let's flashback to Schiff's "evidence" of collusion—pure BS that divided America for years.
2/8 Just yesterday, Schiff doubled down in this video statement reacting to President Trump's threats of prosecution.
He proudly referenced his "work on the investigation of Donald Trump connected to Russia" as valid oversight, with zero regret or revision.
“For years, really beginning with my work on the investigation of Donald Trump connected to Russia… Donald Trump has threatened to investigate me, prosecute me… accused me falsely of engaging in a variety of crimes.”
FALSELY? The man who spent 4 years lying about "evidence" he never had thinks HE'S the victim? He’s still portraying his hoax-pushing as heroic.
Classic Schiff.
3/8: March 2017: THE BIG LIE BEGINS 🚨
Schiff told Chuck Todd on MSNBC's "Meet the Press Daily" there was "more than circumstantial evidence" of Trump-Russia collusion.
"Actually no, Chuck. I can tell you that the case is more than that. And I can't go into the particulars, but there is more than circumstantial evidence now… I don't want to go into specifics, but I will say that there is evidence that is not circumstantial and is very much worthy of investigation."
This was the moment. This kicked off years of division—and ZERO evidence ever surfaced.
He had NOTHING but sold America a lie from DAY ONE.
4/8: August 2018: DOUBLING DOWN ON THE LIE - A SALESMAN AT WORK😏
On CBS's "Face the Nation," Schiff claimed there's "plenty of evidence of collusion or conspiracy in plain sight" between Trump campaign and Russia.
"I think there's plenty of evidence of collusion or conspiracy in plain sight. Now, that's a different statement than saying that there's proof beyond a reasonable doubt of a criminal conspiracy. Bob Mueller will have to determine that."
Notice the clever word games? "Plain sight" but not "criminal proof." Mueller found NOTHING, but Schiff kept the hoax alive to tear America apart. He KNEW it was BS but kept lying.
5/8 May 2023: DURHAM DROPS, SCHIFF DEFLECTS
Right after Durham's bombshell report exposed the FBI's flawed Russia probe origins, Schiff immediately trashed it as "flawed" and a "wasted effort" on MSNBC.
"This was an investigation that started in a flawed manner, it was conducted in a flawed manner, and its conclusion is a flawed conclusion."
Translation: "How DARE you expose my hoax!"
He defended his lies as based on "publicly available information"—ignoring Durham's findings of FBI bias and ZERO evidence.
Still gaslighting America instead of apologizing.
6/8: June 2023: CENSURED BUT DEFIANT
After being censured by House Republicans (213-209) for "purposely deceiving" Congress and the American people, Schiff called it a "badge of honor" on the House floor.
The resolution: "Representative Schiff purposely deceived his Committee, Congress, and the American people."
His response? Accused Republicans of doing Trump's bidding without retracting a SINGLE false claim. This after Mueller, Durham, and IG Horowitz all found no conspiracy—yet he stood by his hoax like gospel.
Unbelievable arrogance. Zero accountability.
7/8 November 2024: STILL LYING
On CNN's "State of the Union," Schiff had a perfect chance to walk back his collusion claims. Instead, he doubled down:
"I think there's plenty of evidence of collusion or conspiracy in plain sight… that's a different statement than saying that there's proof beyond a reasonable doubt of a criminal conspiracy."
Same. Exact. Lie. Still hyping "plain sight" evidence despite ZERO proof of criminality.
He knows it's BS but won't admit it because his entire career is built on this hoax.
This is gaslighting at an industrial scale.
8/8: THE VERDICT IS IN
Schiff spent years peddling collusion lies, wasting $40+ million, eroding trust in institutions, and tearing families apart—all based on fabricated "evidence" he NEVER had.
Now with Gabbard's declassification showing Obama's team literally manufactured fake intelligence post-election to frame Trump, where's Schiff's accountability?
Silence. Because it exposes him completely.
The real conspiracy was always the deep state's coordinated hoax against President Trump. And Schiff was the lead salesman.
When do the lies finally catch up to him? 🤔

DAILY MAIL🧵: 'Apocalyptic' wildfire closes in on Marseille, tornadoes form in the Med and Greece shuts Acropolis amid 42C heatwave while SNOW falls in Switzerland as Europe's extreme weather continues
Europe is once again being battered by extreme weather with 'apocalyptic' wildfires raging towards Marseille, tornadoes forming in the Med and even snow falling in Switzerland.
Out-of-control fires fuelled by strong winds are closing in on the southern French city with scores of firefighters deployed in a race against time to dampen flames before they reach homes on the outskirts.
Dramatic pictures show smoke blanketed over the city of 873,000 while officials have already closed the area's main airport.
Meanwhile, other freak weather events were seen across the continent, including in Croatia, Greece, Spain Switzerland, and Turkey.
Croatia saw towering waterspouts form across its coast, while tens of thousands in Spain's Tarragona were instructed to remain protected indoors as raging fires burned 3,000 hectares (7,413 acres) of vegetation to a crisp.
The Marseille wildfire, currently on the outskirts of the coastal city, has so far burned 700 hectares and damaged more than 10 buildings, a local official told reporters on Tuesday.
Georges-Francois Leclerc, the prefect for the area, added that there have been no reported fatalities in the fire.
Earlier, the city's airport was forced to closed at around midday local time, and no aircraft have been allowed to land or take off from the regional travel hub.
A combination of high temperatures and winds has started a series of wildfires across the country, including on the island of Cyprus.
Dozens of fire engines and firefighting planes and helicopters were sent to battle ever-growing flames that are lashing across the Paphos region of the island.
Terrifying footage showed plumes of grey smoke billowing into the sky as firefighting planes and helicopters dropped water on flames.
🧵President Donald Trump on Saturday said there would be “serious consequences” if tech mogul Elon Musk funds Democratic candidates to run against Republicans who vote in favor of the GOP’s sweeping budget bill.
“If he does, he’ll have to pay the consequences for that,” Trump told NBC News in a phone interview, but declined to share what those consequences would be.
“He’ll have to pay very serious consequences if he does that,” he added.
2. The president also said he has no desire to repair his relationship with Musk after a feud between the two men erupted into public view earlier this week.
“No,” Trump said when asked if he had any wish to do so.
3. Asked if he thought his relationship with the Tesla and SpaceX CEO was over, Trump said, “I would assume so, yeah.”
Trump said he has no plans to speak with Musk anytime soon. “I’m too busy doing other things,” he said, adding, “I have no intention of speaking to him.”
Amid long, uncomfortable pauses, Joe Biden struggled to recall when his son died, when he left office as vice president, what year Donald Trump was elected or why he had classified documents he shouldn't have had, according to audio Axios obtained of his October 2023 interviews with special counsel Robert Hur.
The newly released recordings of Biden having trouble recalling such details — while occasionally slurring words and muttering — shed light on why his White House refused to release the recordings last year, as questions mounted about his mental acuity.
The audio shows what the transcript lacks — the president's dry-whisper voice and the long silences as he struggles to find the right words or dates. Those often were supplied by his attorneys, who acted as caretakers of his memory.
The attorneys had to remind Biden the year his son Beau died (2015) and when Trump was first elected (2016).
Also captured on the audio: the tick-tock of a grandfather clock in the White House's Map Room, where the interviews took place. It adds a metronomic measurement of Biden's halting speech — especially as he describes his book, Promise Me, Dad, about Beau's death from brain cancer at 46.
