SO MUCH Unamerican, anti-Constitutional BS by Tulsi. Let's just look at a few examples.🧵 1. The new, so-called "Director's Initiatives Group" (DIG - clever, no?) appears to be created EXCLUSIVELY to weaponize (get the irony here?) US intelligence in support of a purely political purpose.

2. This violates both the National Security Act of 1947 and applicable Executive Orders. NOTE: If then-serving Obama appointees had used US intelligence for political purposes, these also would be violations - but nothing in Tulsi's BS report (or anywhere else) shows this.

3. In considering all of this, please remember the high likelihood that Gabbard has acted as a foreign agent and, specifically, that she constantly echoes Russian talking points.

4. Even the political "DIG"'s OWN report shows, in so many words, that a draft PDB (which should never be discussed in public) that there is no indication of a Russian threat to "directly manipulate the actual vote count." NO ONE in positions of authority, or with a clue (like me) ever publicly stated otherwise.

5. BTW: Many Dems accused Obama of just the opposite of Gabbard's disinformation, i.e., that he DID NOT make public comments about Russian disinformation and hacking of the DNC and Clinton campaign to avoid a risk of effecting the US election.

6. As someone who has contributed to, and read, hundreds of PDBs, I can confirm that they -- like all government and corporate reports -- are drafted and edited in the process of making sure all relevant officials are consulted. NO ONE shilling for Trump has done this. NO ONE.

7. Again, quoting Gabbard's attempted disinformation "report" directly, the PDB at issue was edited to reinforce that Russia was “probably is not trying…to influence the election by using cyber means.” This is EXACTLY what the IC and me (as a cybersecurity expert) said AT THE TIME. NOTE: "BY CYBER MEANS."

8. Again, Gabbard's own BS "report" states that the ACTUALLY PUBLISHED intelligence report said “foreign adversaries do not have and will probably not obtain the capabilities to successfully execute widespread and undetected cyber attacks” on election infrastructure. These were - and are - facts.

9. Gabbard's disinformation stresses that POTUS asked for a comprehensive assessment of Russian "election meddling" (disinformation and cyber). PRO TIP: ALL Presidents who can read "task" future PDBs. HINT: The "P" stands for "President." This is common. I've seen it myself. It also was his Constitutional duty.

10. The PUBLISHED statement by President Obama, dated December 29, 2016 said the following about Russia's election interference: "These data theft and disclosure activities could only have been directed by the highest levels of the Russian government."

11. This public statement is EXACTLY consistent with all of the assessments, the Rubio/Ratcliffe unanimous 1000 page report, and what I and everyone else stated at the time. NOT ONE WORD ABOUT HACKING ELECTION INFRASTRUCTURE.

12. The Gabbard disinfo asserts "Deep State leaks." NONE of these claimed leaks are inconsistent with what POTUS stated publicly AND every single Administration leaks -- emphatically including this one. Even those claimed leaks said nothing different, only that 2016 was "the first time Russia has attempted to interfere in...[or] influence" the election. This is not only FACTUAL but uncontradicted for the last nine years of MAGA attempts to bury it.

13. Let's be frank: ANYONE who continues to falsely claim that the USG stated that Russia "hacked" election infrastructure to change the outcome is lying to you. Wonder why? B/C they are shills for Trump and Russian talking points. AND to distract from Epstein. This is immoral.

14. Anyone pushing Gabbard's disinformation is PROTECTING PEDOPHILES. By claiming it's all a CIA conspiracy, they're trying to distract from pedophiles-- presidents and otherwise. That is false, disgusting, immoral, damages victims, and encourages future pedophilia.

15. Gabbard and her shills deliberately conflate Russian disinfo and their hacking of the DNC and Clinton campaign - which DID HAPPEN (and Trump publicly asked Russia to disclose the results of the Russian hacked data) and hacking election infrastructure, which NO ONE CLAIMED.

16. Finally, there still is no Deep State. Gabbard's "DIG," however, along with Bondi directing 1000 FBI agents to search Epstein files for references to Trump, IS CREATING ONE, and an abuse of power. Every allegation is a confession. STOP BEING DUPED. You're welcome.
