🧵On the "Paid by Qatar" allegations of the West on Israel vs Palestine.
Myth vs Reality.
A thread.
There is no doubt one country in the middle east which is notorious for it's role in being very two faced. This is Qatar, it has a lot of negotiations with both Israel and the Americans, as well as Palestinians.
After October 7th, many pro-Israel accounts have been saying that various influencers and others were being paid to believe foreign propaganda. Most among those is Qatar, portraying it as some kind of mastermind of anti-zionism, especially in the west.
Some of them have even joked about being paid by Qatar as a way to mock those claims, as a troll tactic. But in all seriousness, how accurate is the claim that Qatar is this mastermind behind criticism of Israel, mostly in the west in the first place?
well of course it is true that Qatar does indeed not only allow, but is pretty vocal about criticism of Israel, on it's news, Al-Jazeera. It also has the Muslim Brotherhood, and Hamas as well.
Zionists will say that this, and Qatar's connections to universities in america are enough proof that Qatar is some mastermind of anti-zionism. However, looking at other pro-palestine factions puts this theory to scrutiny.
Mel pointed out that many of the actual material relating to universities was mainly going over making American campuses in Qatar, not making Qatari influenced curricula in America:
Also, there are three other groups within the pro-palestine movement other than MB guys. those are: 1. two state solution or peaceful coexistence supporters 2. "axis of resistance" supporters 3. hardline islamists
All of them are critical of Qatar, for different reasons.
Some of the first group (like this account here) say that there was an Israeli-Qatar-Hamas link, in order to prevent a peaceful coexistence from ever happening between Israelis and Palestinians and fueling radicalization on both sides:
according to this narrative, Netanyahu deliberately wanted Qatar to fund Hamas to undermine the PA and sink any possibility of a two state solution.
Then, from group two, those supporting Iran, it's aligned shia groups, and "multipolarism". According to them, Qatar is a sunni sectarian used like other arab peninsula countries. It opposed Assad in Syria, and supported the PLC government in Yemen against the Houthis.
Last, from the third group. It is especially critical of the Al Udeid Airbase there, which is the largest US military base in the middle east. It was notable as a launchpad for american invasions there, for the Anti-ISIS coalition, and Iran hitting it during the 12 day war.
as I earlier mentioned, it backed the PLC government in Yemen against the Houthis, but another rival of the PLC government is AQAP. Qatar has also been aiding the state of Somalia against AQ affiliated Al-Shabaab.
I mentioned 9/11 and it's implications in an earlier thread, and one of the conditions of it being preventable is not only not intervening on behalf of and giving aid to Israel, but also other countries who were seen as collaborators. This includes Qatar as well.
Ex-CIA agent and associate of Michael Scheuer @SlanderedSaint3 posted this on the allegation that Qatar hosted KSM, who had a major role in 9/11 on his previous account. He generally supports the view that Qatar is another traitor government in the area.
@SlanderedSaint3 In America, both the first and second views are popular among the pro-palestine movement. regardless, the fact that those plus the hardline islamists are all critical of qatar, shows only the MB types would actually have a positive view of Qatar overall.
@SlanderedSaint3 The vast majority of them are critical of Qatar one way or another, thus making the narrative that critics of Zionism, especially in the west, are paid by Qatar clearly absurd. Many of them call out Qatar, even if in different ways.
@SlanderedSaint3 This clearly shows the image of Qatar as some mastermind of anti-Zionism is absurd hasbara propaganda. It doesn't take into account the angles of which Zionism is critiqued from, and most of them view Qatar in a negative light.
@SlanderedSaint3 Qatar's two faced nature didn't make it a mastermind of anti-zionism, it made many of them angry at them due to different POVs. It is a theory that is just lame and conspiratorial, ironically what zionists say anti-zionists are, and it doesn't hold up to scrutiny and reality.
@SlanderedSaint3 It is clearly a deflection tactic used to silence those critical of Israeli war crimes. Most of the anti-Zionism in America is homegrown, likely not by any foreign state and definitely not Qatar. The state making others more anti-Zionist is Israel itself through atrocities.
@SlanderedSaint3 End of thread.

🧵9/11, the War on Terror, Israel-Palestine, Israel-Iran, and the dark meaning of it all for America.
A thread
No doubt many noticed the attacks of 6/12/2025 that Israel did on Iran, and this is going to force America, and much of the West in general to confront a major problem
This major problem in question, is the War on Terror, and foreign policy in the middle east in general, which lead to a lot of deprivation of often basic civil liberties in the name of fighting "islamic terrorism" on behalf of Israel, but also across the world in general.
