@BamaSaltyMarine I worked as a Critical Care RN with many shifts in a Coronary Care Acute unit, in ER & an Open Heart Post Op ICU. 1) Denial is a symptom of a heart attack. People try to blame it on indigestion, gall bladder, fatigue. It's usually not if left/central crushing chest pain.
1/2
@BamaSaltyMarine 2) Pain is only a symptom when there is over 90% blockage of a coronary artery. 3) Cholesterol build-up in arteries forms and becomes solid preventing the artery from expanding when needed with exertion and more oxygen is needed for the heart muscle and the body. Arteries 2/3
@BamaSaltyMarine can expand up to 10% of the original diameter. Smoking actually causes contraction of the arteries. 4) The blood of cholesterol built up arteries is through pin holes, not the middle part and thus if those pin holes close totally, this is why even with a cardiac arrest from 3/4
@BamaSaltyMarine the closure of these pin holes and thus no oxygen to the heart muscle, it means no CPR can work as the heart muscles need oxygen to work. Hence the 'widow maker' heart attack happens. So now you understand this, better get to an ER now and not wait for a Cardiologist appt. 4/5
@BamaSaltyMarine Also, do not exert yourself in any way till you are checked out as if you increase your heart rate, oxygen needs increase and then you will probably have pain again. Do not drink alcohol at all as it may dull perceiving chest pain. No smoking and no lifting anything as both 5/6
@BamaSaltyMarine increase your heart rate.
Hope all that makes sense and I explained this well enough for you to take this chest pain very, very seriously.

@1MikeMorris They also make Frozen Yogurt in different flavours. Would you believe this: I'm caffeine sensitive++, aware of this from high heart rate reaction happening after drinking a lot coffee one day decades ago. They have a Chocolate Espresso Frozen Yogurt. Love it but usually only 1/2
@1MikeMorris have a few tablespoons each time as mix with Vanilla yogurt. One night over a month ago had a big bowl of it. Within 5 minutes my normal heart rate of about 68/min. jumped up to 120 beats per minute. As an RN (now retired) who worked in Critical Care, I know a lot about 2/3
@1MikeMorris heart function. Had no idea what had caused this as was sitting at my table using a laptop. Did carotid massage on my neck to reduce it to only 100 and was totally otherwise asymptomatic. After an hour it was 88 and in 2 hours was back to normal. I looked at the ingredients 3/4
Novavax update: Today I received a specific email from Sanofi about the Novavax vaccine for 2025 fall: named Nuvaxovid which targets a JN.1 strain. Quote: "Please note that we do not plan to bring Nuvaxovid® to the Canadian market for the upcoming 2025 fall season at this time."
The email stated the transition of the Novavax to Sanofi company in Canada is still ongoing. Perhaps once the transition is complete in the next weeks this June/July, there will be reconsidering of providing Nuvaxovid to Canadians. I have once again called the company to inquire
if this may be happening. I still believe with enough public pressure on our governments provincially the need for this vaccine must be acknowledged and thus orders for this vaccine may be made. IF it is being made available to other countries, why not Canada? I've requested a
My update on Novavax inquiry with the Sanofi Pharmaceutical company contact # in Canada. This afternoon I made 3 1-800 calls. With the first at a general customer service #, she was not able to answer my questions; was transferred to a second person at a medical professional
inquiry # but after about 10 minutes, the call got disconnected. It happens sometimes. I then called back at the same # for the medical menu choice and had a good conversation with a male representative. He typed my four questions to be forwarded to the correct individual to
reply either by email or phone. My questions were: 1) Is the company working on a new formula of Novavax now for the 2025-2026 Covid booster season considering the new variant? 2) With the last production of Novavax how long is it before the expiration of that specific formula
Novavax update of information: I just called long distance to the Novavax customer service (no 1-800 #) for information about supply possibly to Canadian and specificially B.C. Found out a few facts: The current Novavax vaccine is although not outdated is not the newer one
currently being developed for the fall of 2025. Whatever supply is 'out there' is the formula which was used previously. We have a new variant and I assume the new formula will be adjusted for protection from it. Also, the Novavax company & vaccine now has been absorbed by a new
company: Sanofi. Link: They are now working on the new vaccine and the head of this pharmaceutical company is in France. There is however a branch in Toronto. Can be contacted at the website or 1-800-268-7263 or (416) 667-2700. I'll be calling them today.sanofi.com/en/canada
@ItsColbyTime @ClayTravis As a Critical Care RN in both Paediatrics and Adult care over 34 years, I can say you are uneducated about aggressive cancers. Your assumption that annual checks will be sufficient for cancer diagnosis are unfounded. IF after testing, a mainly asymptomatic cancer begins, it 1/2
@ItsColbyTime @ClayTravis can then be undetected for those 12 months passing by. There are various types of cancers which are more aggessive than others of the same location. Some brain tumours with few symptoms can be lethal very quickly and others have dramatic symptoms like a seizure with detection 2/3
@ItsColbyTime @ClayTravis due to testing. I cared for one neurosurgical patient post op who had a tumour the size of a lemon when removed but only in two weeks prior had been complaining of a headache. The type of cells in that cancer meant it was not aggressive and the patient had a low chance of 3/4
@SenAdamSchiff Senator Schiff, I am in Vancouver, Canada and am so glad I saw this video. However, it filled me with sorrow this conversation even has to be happening with your comments which I know are heartfelt. Over my lifetime so far, I've had many trips to the US States and made many 1/2
@SenAdamSchiff friends who I still am in contact with today. As now am a retired former Registered Nurse who worked in Critical Care Units, for nearly a year I worked in La Jolla as an RN. Your video reminded me of the morning of the unforgettable 9/11. I had that day begun a two week 2/3
@SenAdamSchiff vacation and was watching Good Morning America when the planes hit the two NYC Trade buildings. I sat there horrified assuming there would be many casualties and the hospitals would be overwhelmed and not have enough staff. I was aware my RN licence was recognized in NY State 3/4
