🧵 Let’s talk about the lie that “the aid is there, but the UN won’t distribute it.”
Here’s what’s actually happening at the Gaza border — and why Palestinians are still starving.
1/ Hundreds of aid trucks are parked at the Kerem Shalom crossing. But they’re not moving because Israel controls everything:
What enters
When it enters
Who’s allowed to move it
And how much is allowed in.
This is not a logistics issue. It’s a siege.
2/ UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric said it bluntly:
“Israeli authorities are the sole decision makers on who, how, and how much aid enters Gaza... Kerem Shalom is not a McDonald’s drive-through.”
3/ To move even one truck, UN drivers need:
🚧 Multiple access approvals
✋ A pause in the bombing
🔓 Israel to unlock the gates
🛣️ Safe roads (which Israel has turned into kill zones)
The process is deliberately designed to fail by Israel.
4/ And no, military escorts aren’t the answer.
The UN tried that with a WFP convoy — Israel attacked anyway. Multiple aid workers were killed. Even with armed guards.
The problem isn’t logistics, Hamas or security.
It’s Israel's starvation policy.
5/ Meanwhile, the IDF claims:
“There is no famine in Gaza yet.”
Then blames the UN for “abandoning its trucks” — the same trucks Israel won’t let move without full compliance to impossible rules.
6/ Let’s be clear:
Israel bombed bakeries, blocking aid, killed aid workers, and dismantled UNRWA — the agency distributing food in Gaza.
And now it blames the UN for its man-made famine.
END/
This is why starvation is not a byproduct of the war — it’s a weapon.
Blocking food. Bombing convoys. Killing those who distribute aid.
🧵THREAD: Israeli colonization doesn't just take Palestinian land—it tears apart entire communities and traditions. Here's how it's playing out in the village of Taybeh, northeast of Ramallah. ⤵️ mondoweiss.net/2025/07/how-is…
For generations, Taybeh's Palestinian villagers and nearby Bedouin communities shared a symbiotic relationship—farmers grew crops while Bedouins grazed livestock, each supporting the other. But Israeli land seizures and violent settler expansion are unraveling this fabric.
Since October 2023, Israeli settlers have forcibly expelled dozens of Bedouin families from their grazing lands near Taybeh, pushing them toward the village outskirts. With shrinking space, tensions now rise as Bedouins unintentionally herd livestock into villagers' precious olive groves.
THREAD: A senior ICE official just admitted under oath that the U.S. government used the far-right doxxing site Canary Mission to build reports on student protesters—most of them pro-Palestinian.
These reports were sent to the State Department to initiate possible deportations.
2/ 2.
Peter Hatch, a senior DHS intelligence official, testified in federal court that more than 75% of the names in their investigation came directly from Canary Mission’s website.
This is the first public confirmation that the U.S. government is operationalizing Canary Mission’s blacklist.
3/
Canary Mission is an anonymously run site that targets students and faculty who speak out for Palestinian rights, labeling them as antisemitic or terrorist sympathizers. It hosts thousands of profiles and has long been criticized for endangering careers and safety.
How Israel and the U.S. turned food aid into a weapon of extermination — and why Palestinians call these sites "death traps."
1/ The UN said Gaza is the hungriest place on Earth.
The entire population is at risk of famine. Malnutrition has doubled. Children are starving. And when Palestinians go looking for food, many of them don’t come back.
Because they’re being killed at aid sites.
2/ Since late May, over 400 Palestinians have been killed and more than 3,000 wounded while trying to collect food.
These aren’t isolated incidents — they’re near-daily massacres.
Snipers. Tanks. Drones.
All opened fire on starving civilians.
THREAD: Zionism isn’t just a threat to Palestinians. It’s the root of regional violence — from Gaza to Tehran.
As Israel bombs Iran with U.S. backing, Iranian civilians are learning what Palestinians have always known.
2/ Toddlers trembling from fear. Professors burying their students. Fathers and daughters killed in their sleep.
This isn’t new. It’s the logic of Zionism.
3/ Palestinians have lived this for 76 years.
Israeli strikes are not “defensive.” They’re about sustaining an ideology — Zionism — built on supremacy, expansion, and ethnic domination.
THREAD:
Israel bombed Iran, assassinating top military leaders and nuclear scientists.
This was a manufactured crisis — timed, planned, and approved by the U.S.
Here’s what they don’t want you to see: 🧵
2/ Just 48 hours before U.S.-Iran nuclear talks were set to resume, Israel launched its biggest-ever strike on Iranian soil — hitting nuclear sites, airports, and homes.
The goal? Kill the deal. Escalate the war. And drag America in.
3/ This attack didn’t come out of nowhere.
The U.S. evacuated embassies.
The IAEA passed a censure against Iran.
And Trump’s envoy said a strike was “coming.”
Israel launched the bombing less than a day after the IAEA vote. It was planned.
2/ For decades, Israel has deployed undercover agents posing as Palestinians — called musta’ribeen — to infiltrate and destabilize Palestinian communities.
Now, that same strategy is being rebranded: this time, as gangs.
3/ These gangs, often led by ex-prisoners and collaborators, now control parts of Gaza’s aid distribution.
They extract bribes, redirect food, and present themselves as the “new local order.”
