In Ayurveda, it’s about Agni... the sacred fire that transforms food into life.

🔹 Maharshi Charaka says:

“When Agni is balanced, we live long. When Agni is weak, disease begins. When Agni dies, we die.”Image

👉 But Agni isn’t just in your stomach.

There are 13 types of Agni in your body:

— 1 main (Jatharagni)
— 5 Bhutagni (for each element)
— 7 Dhatu Agni (one for each tissue)

Even your thoughts are digested.

If Agni is weak:

— Mind becomes dull
— Emotions become toxic
— You overthink, get foggy, or anxious

— Hunger at regular times

— Coated tongue
— Bad breath
— Bloating, gas, or indigestion

👉 It peaks at midday (10 am – 2 pm)
That’s why Ayurveda recommends largest meal at lunch.

👉 It drops at night

📌 How to Strengthen Agni:

— Eat only when truly hungry
— No cold water with food
— Sip warm water or cumin-ginger tea
— Don’t overeat.. eat till 75% full
— Eat fresh, warm, seasonal food

📌 What Weakens Agni:

— Cold/raw food
— Overeating
— Snacking all day
— Late-night meals
— Negative emotions
