1).
On Sunday, July 27, 2025, in the early evening, two carriages of a regional train bound for Ulm derailed on the Sigmaringen-Ulm railway line in Baden-Württemberg.
2).
The Federal Police in Stuttgart and the State Police in Ulm were notified at approximately 6:10 p.m. CEST (UTC+2) of the train derailment on the section between Riedlingen and Munderkingen.
3).
Three people died in the crash, including the train driver and an employee of the German Railways. Around 50 were injured, 25 of them seriously.
