Technical SEO is so so so booooorinnnggggg

But after optimizing 100+ websites I've identified 7 technical issues that make a yugeee difference mai fren.

I know 99.99999% of you won't do any of this, but the 0.00001% that do will see higher rankings.

Wanna check? 👀👇🏼 Image
1. Page speed = rankings (it's that simple)

Forget the fancy tools.

Just hit 90+ on Lighthouse and call it a day.

I've watched overall rankings flying up by doing basic stuff:

- Squashing bloated images
- Adding lazy loading
- Killing render-blocking JavaScript

You get my drift....
2. Mobile-first means MOBILE-FIRST

Google crawls mobile versions first, but you're still designing for desktop like it's 2015.
Stop being an idiot.

Your mobile site needs to be perfect:

>> 16px fonts minimum (stop making people squint)
>> Buttons you can actually tap
>> Forms that don't make users rage-quit
>> Menus that work without a PhD
3. Canonical chaos is murdering your authority

Duplicate content is everywhere and you don't even know it.

Every duplicate page splits your ranking power in half.

The usual suspects:

>> HTTP vs HTTPS mess
>> WWW vs non-WWW confusion
>> Filter parameters creating infinite indexable pages
>> Random session IDs polluting URLs

Clean. 👏 This. 👏 Up. 👏
4. Internal linking with actual strategy

Random internal links = wasted opportunity.

Smart internal linking:

>> Pushes authority to your money pages
>> Shows Google what matters most
>> Creates clear site hierarchy
5. Schema markup (because rich snippets win clicks)

If you're not using structured data, you're leaving money on the table.

The heavy hitters:

>> FAQ schema
>> How-to markup
>> Product schemas
>> Review stars
>> Local business data

Higher click-through rates. Easier.
6. Stop wasting Google's crawl budget

Big sites waste crawl budget on garbage pages while their best content gets ignored.

Fix your robots.txt and XML sitemaps. Make Google crawl what actually makes you money, not your random tag pages from 2019.
7. Regular audits = staying ahead

Run quarterly deep dives and weekly quick checks.

At SWAT SEO, we catch problems before they become disasters.

Late fixes cost fortunes.

So, what way, digital man?

I charge $11.5K for SEO sprints.

Here are the top 10 strategies my clients pay for:
Tip #1: Build your Topical Map BEFORE writing anything

Most people jump straight into content creation.

Big mistake.

I've built sites that get 1.7M visits/year using this single approach:

• Brain dump all related concepts
• Create pillar pages for main themes
• Build supporting clusters with internal links
• Add conversion points throughout
Tip #2: Use the SCORE Framework for everything

Site Optimization (technical SEO, loading speed, etc.)

Content Production (content map, writer's team, SEO briefs)

Outside Signals (backlinks, social mentions, Wikipedia)

Rank Enhancement (growth experiments, refreshing content)

Evaluate Results (track KPIs, double down on what works)

This framework has never failed me.
