If you are an Isreali citizen, you need to realize that contentious rejectors (refuseniks) are the only morally safe citizens. Even with this in mind, it is important for IDF personnel who feel true guilt or misalignment to speak out and leave the service with accountability. 
IDF soldier's increased occurrence of taking their own lives is a direct admittance to these atrocities. However, this needs to stop, taking one's own life is cowardice, it is a continued burial of accountability and justice. You can never morally repent entirely, but it is not
worth one's own life, not by their own hands. IDF soldiers and outsiders need to realize the integration and propaganda that the Isreali right wing has imposed on generations. Speaking out is the only counter to this system. Self-inflicted deaths only burries the evidence further
This is not a call for sympathy towards IDF soldiers, especially those who willfully engaged in genocidal warfare in at least some capacity before refusal or suicide. There is not any justification besides human and societal sciences, unfortunately most are brainwashed through
Theological, social, and hereditary integration. Isreal is a literal arphartide, state sponsor of terrorism. The first is evidenced in literal domestic laws disenfanchising PCIs & Bedouins, along with publicized genocidal rhetoric. The later through state publicized admissions.
This creates an aspect where all these actions are justified and excused through the right-wing society Israel has founded with US support in colonial rhetoric since Der Judenstaat and the 1899 Conference of Zionists in Baltimore, Maryland. NYT June 20, "WILL COLONIZE PALESTINE."
