🔥 China and USA fighting. India walks away with the trophy.
Foxconn in talks for 300 acres in Noida for Apple manufacturing.
Crazy, right? Let me break it down... 🧵 Image
1/ US-China trade war = India's golden ticket. $350B in trade shifting globally. Apple wants out of China. Like, yesterday. Your next iPhone? Made in India. Bet on it.
2/ Foxconn's potential Noida deal = $1B+ investment coming. 100K+ jobs. Average salary? 30% higher than local market. The math is simple. The impact? Game-changing.

This is how to take INSPIRATION:

He found some LCVs (tempos) EMPTY, so he thought why not use them?

So he QUIT his job to run the UBER of LCVs from a GOOGLE SHEET.

... which now makes 2700 CRORES in REVENUE:

Here's the MIND BLOWING STORY behind Porter: Image
1️⃣ The Empty Trucks

While going back home together, Uttam Digga and Pranav Goel, saw something strange.

While on one side people wanted to get transport vehicles, here trucks were lying IDLE!

Something sparked in them.
2️⃣ 30% Capacity

He inquired with 500 truck drivers, and found out they were averaging just 1-2 orders per day when they could do 4-5!

This got them thinking: If Uber did it for cabs. Why not do something the same for LCVs?

And so started: PORTER

What a man.

He QUIT his father's 80 Cr Jewellery Business to sell ornaments 'online'.

Everyone thought he was crazy - many even LAUGHED at him.

But now his business MINTS 3200 CRORE in just REVENUE.

Here's the MIND BLOWINg story behind CARATLANE: Image
1️⃣ The 80cr in 7 years

Mithun Sacheti was a different man.

He studied Gemology in California, US, and came back to run their family jewellery store. But?

Within 7 years, he made 80 Cr in Revenue and 10 Cr in profit.

His family was impressed. But he wasn't.
2️⃣ "There's no scale"

Sacheti, the 'best performer in the family', was unhappy.

"There was no pace. There was no scale. I wanted to expand,” recalls Sacheti. And "online" seemed to be the best place for it.

That's why he left the business. After taking 74 Lakhs from his father, he started Caratlane, an online jewellery shop in 2008 with Srinivasa Gopalan.

In 2015, Whoop entered the world.

Many thought it would FAIL to sell its "smartwatch" SUBSCRIPTION when legends like Apple and Fitbit ruled.

But to everyone's SHOCK, it became a leader in the fitness tracking space winning the hearts of LeBron James, Phelps, and even Virat Kohli

Why Whoop didn't failImage
Selling REAL smart watches is a difficult space to enter. Because

• The tech requirements are crazy high
• You have to spend MILLIONS to make a good TRACKER
• When Apple, Garmin, or Fitbit ruled - what chance did you have?

But here's the crazy story how Will beat everyone:
1️⃣ Cliche

"Why do I feel different today even though everything is the same"

While others just ponder and move on, Will took it too seriously.

Forget his Harvard Squash Captaincy, he was now going to read papers on this. 500 of them.

In 2013, 5 friends wanted to copy Wattpad's success n India.

Everyone thought they'd FAIL to make people read LONG stories when 15-second REELS and TikTok ruled.

But to everyone's SHOCK, there are 2.5 CRORE readers on Pratilipi!

Why Pratilipi didn't fail: Image
Reels are the new legal drug.

• They release a TON of dopamine, making you want it more and more.
• They are so 'short' that an hour seems to fly by,
• BUT, you cannot even remember the third last reel you watch.

Yet in the world of 15s drugs, how did a LONG form Pratilipi win? Let's start from the very beginning
1️⃣ BookWorm

Pratap Singh faced a common dilemma:

Love something (reading Hindi). Went to someplace (college). Couldn't do what you love anymore.

And like everyone else, he cribbed about it. Only there was one difference:

If you see a McLaren go past, you say "What a car"

But if you see a Rolls Royce go past, you say "What a man".

But guess what? Rolls Royce wasn't created by a rich kid of Harvard Grad.

But an uneducated poor boy who spent his childhood delivering newspapers.

Rolls Royce story is more valuable than its car:Image
If I could call anyone unlucky, it’d be Henry Royce.

At 4 years old, his family went bankrupt. He lost his father when he was 9.

He had to leave school to deliver newspapers to survive.

But how did this uneducated child create the world’s most prestigious car brand?
1️⃣ Uneducated Genius.

Education is of no use if you don't have the hunger for it.

And Henry was not one of them. His poverty didn't impact his curiosity.

At 15, when he got to work at Great Northen Railway as a (child) apprentice thanks to his aunty, he QUIT.
