Hiroshima, 1945. A small Jesuit house stood just 8 blocks from where the atomic bomb exploded.

Everything around it was vaporized.
But the house still stood.
The priests inside? Unharmed.

Why? They prayed the Rosary daily.
The miracle of Hiroshima - a 🧵 Image

On August 6, 1945, the United States dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima. 140,000 people were killed.

The blast leveled everything within a mile radius.
Concrete turned to dust. Steel bent like paper.

Except for one house. Image
Just 1 kilometer from Ground Zero stood a modest building: the Jesuit rectory of Our Lady’s Assumption Church.

Inside were eight German priests, including Fr. Hubert Schiffer.
They were completely unharmed.

No burns. No radiation sickness. No explanation. Image

This year you should do the Saint Michael lent, starts August 15. Why?

He is the mightiest defender of Heaven. The prince of the heavenly host & the shield of the Church

The story of Saint Michael & the forgotten tradition of the Saint Michael Lent - a 🧵✝️ Image

Before man was created, there was war in Heaven.

Lucifer, once the greatest angel, rebelled out of pride.
But it was not just some random angel who defeated him.

It was a humble servant: Michael, meaning “Who is like God?”

The cry of holy humility "Quis ut Deus?!" crushed pride. - Revelation 12,7-9Image

Michael didn’t rely on his own power. He invoked God’s Majesty.

In the battle, Lucifer fell and became Satan, the adversary. Michael, by God's power, cast him and the rebellious angels out of Heaven.

Since then, Michael has been the Prince of the Heavenly Armies, leading the fight against evil.Image

The Devil Hates the Confessional.

He doesn’t mind your regrets.
He fears your repentance.
He doesn’t care if you cry.

He panics when you confess. Why? Because in that moment he loses you.

Why you should go to Confession - a 🧵✝️ Image
How are sins forgiven?

Only God can forgive sins. But He established means to apply that mercy to our souls.

The ordinary way? The Sacrament of Penance.

It’s not man-made. It’s Christ’s gift to us.

"Whose sins you forgive, they are forgiven..." (John 20,23) Image
But can't God just forgive me? Well, He can.
There is such a thing as Perfect Contrition.

Sorrow for sin because it offends God’s goodness, not just because of Hell.

It can restore grace, but its rare and it has some conditions.

One must genuinely detest their sins because they offend God, and have a firm purpose of amendment, meaning a sincere intention to avoid sin in the future and confess to a priest as soon as possible.

Without that you're gambling with eternity.Image

The New York Post just made a post claiming the Shroud of Turin is fake.
They're wrong.

A X-ray study re-dated it at 2,000 years old, but that’s onlythe tip of the Iceberg.

Science can not explain it.

Strap in fellas This is why the Holy Shroud of Turin is real - a🧵 Image
Image
After our Lord's passion and cruxifixion, Jesus Christ of Nazareth was laid to rest in a tomb belonging to Joseph of Arimathea, located beyond Jerusalem’s walls. Image
As written in scripture, his body was wrapped in a linen burial cloth. Today, that very shroud resides in Turin, where it has remained for 450 years.

But what makes it so extraordinary? The truth is fellas, no one can explain how its image was made. Image

Today, we make the Sign of the Cross without thinking.
Forehead. Chest. Shoulder to shoulder.

“In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”

But this gesture is almost 2,000 years old, and it’s far more than a habit.

It’s a declaration of war - a 🧵✝️ Image
The earliest written mention comes from Church Father Tertullian, writing around AD 200.

“In all our travels and movements, in all our coming in and going out (...) we mark our foreheads with the sign of the cross.”- De Corona, Ch. 3

By then, it was already a universal Christian act.Image
Why the forehead?

Because it echoes Ezekiel 9:4, where God commands:
> “Mark a tau on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over the abominations.”

It was a sign of protection, a mark that distinguished the faithful from the unbeliver. Image

She never performed a public miracle.
She never left her convent.
She died at 24, unknown to the world.

But today, she’s a Doctor of the Church,
and one of the most powerful saints in Heaven.

This is the story of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, the saint of the little way - a 🧵✝️ Image
Image
Thérèse Martin was born in 1873 to devout French parents (both canonized saints).

Sensitive, passionate, and deeply spiritual, she desired only one thing from childhood: to love Jesus with all her heart.

And she meant it. Image
By age 15, she begged the Pope Leo XIII to let her enter the Carmelite convent.
He was stunned.
But she was unshakable.
She entered.
Took the veil.

And began what she called “the little way” a hidden path of radical love, sacrifice, and humility. Image
