Today was a very special Monday trading session with Comet because it's the day I started the Comet Crypto Portfolio.

I'm sharing videos of the entire process, and I'm pretty sure I'm also the first person to agentically trade on @coinbase with Comet.

So let's dive into the tech, a 🧵

First things first, I started by collecting data about the cryptocurrency market. I used Perplexity Research to scrape sites like @cryptoquant_com, @Cointelegraph, @CoinDesk and more.

I then had it take this data and put it into individual JSON files and put them on Github.

Once all the files were ready to rock, it's over to Comet to start ingesting the data. Here's a video of the full session I had with the Comet Agent.

And notice how it was one step ahead of me, it knew what to do just by seeing Github 👀

And of course, in coming up with a trading strategy, I always like to do a deeper dive, so I asked Comet to go further into it's analysis.

The plan looked good to me, Comet took in all the data I had in the JSON files, and used that in it's analysis to come up with a portfolio it thinks will stand the test of time.

So that means, it's time to head to @coinbase to start making the investments.

I'm pretty sure that this is the first time anyone has ever used Comet to agentically trade with Coinbase.

And I recorded the entire session. It was a little bumpy at first but then we got into a nice groove.

This is just week one, and today Perplexity announced that they are adding more powerful models to Comet shortly, so Comet's super powers could be even more super by next week 🦸

The goal here is to continue to build a Cryptocurrency portfolio that can be optimized weekly, and does well over a long time horizon.

But I have also decided to add a little twist for next week that I think people might find interesting 👀

For the trading strategy next week, I am going to have the Comet Agent review all the tweets and replies to the @cometportfolio X account.

It will use this information in its trading strategy.

This means that all of you could influence the trading strategy of the agent.

So over the next week, tweet away at this account with any trading ideas and suggestions you have.

This will means this X account will also become a data collection hub for agentic Cryptocurrency trading, and will continue to develop the Comet Crypto Portfolio.
