Brahmarandhra: The Mysterious Exit Point of Liberated Souls 😱

🔹 Ever wondered where the soul exits at death?

Yogic texts say there’s a secret portal at the top of your head.. invisible, yet real.

👉 It’s called Brahmarandhra... the Exit of the Liberated.

A Thread 🧵Image
In the human body, there is a sacred spot called Brahmarandhra...

👉 It is located at the crown of the head, where the Sahasrara Chakra sits.

This is not just symbolic... it’s the true exit point for liberated souls (jivanmuktas) at death. Image
Image
Anatomically, Brahmarandhra is believed to lie at the fontanelle... the soft spot in newborns.

🔹 Why is it soft at birth?

Because the gateway is still open.. only later it closes as the ego develops.

But yogis reopen it through intense spiritual practice.Image
📌 The name “Brahmarandhra” means:

• Brahma = Supreme Reality
• Randhra = Hole or aperture

It is the subtle opening through which the Atman can merge with Brahman... the cosmic Self.Image
📌 Yogic Scriptures Say:

“When the yogi pierces Brahmarandhra at death,
He rises through the crown into the eternal Light.”
— Hatha Yoga Pradipika

Death is not the end.. it’s an exit. But only few know the right door.Image
Image
There are 101 Nadis flowing from the heart.

But one special Nadi.. the Sushumna, rises straight up to the Sahasrara.

👉 If the prana exits via the Sahasrara, you attain Moksha.

Any other path? You're reborn.Image
📌 Ordinary people exit through:

• Eyes: desire
• Mouth: speech karma
• Ears: past impressions
• Lower apertures: base desires

👉 But only the rarest souls exit through the Brahmarandhra... the path to complete liberation.Image
In deep Samadhi, when the Kundalini ascends and pierces the Sahasrara...

👉 The yogi’s consciousness explodes into infinite space.

They taste death while alive.. and at the moment of actual death, they simply walk out. Image
Image
📌 In Shiva Purana, it is said:

“At death, the soul rises through the Brahmarandhra only when the yogi has awakened inner knowledge.”

🔹 Otherwise?
You’re pulled back into the wheel of karma.Image
Image
Even today, in Himalayan cremation rituals for advanced yogis..

👉 There’s a practice of breaking the skull at Brahmarandhra with a stick or stone.

It’s called Kapal Kriya... to help the soul escape through the crown.

Yes... it’s that real. Image
Image
👉 Sahasrara Chakra is called the Thousand-petalled Lotus... the final chakra.

When awakened, the yogi hears Om, sees divine light, and dissolves all sense of “I”.

Nothing remains.
Only Consciousness. Image
Modern science ignores this.

But ancient yogis mapped a complete spiritual anatomy...

👉 Where the body is a temple, and liberation is physiological too.

The soul is not trapped forever... there’s a door above. Image
📌 Want to activate this exit?

→ Practice meditation on Sahasrara
→ Chant Om while focusing on the crown
→ Live a sattvic, detached life
→ Surrender ego
→ Transcend duality

That’s how you find the door.Image
Image
👉 Brahmarandhra is not a myth.

It’s a mystical reality...
A secret tunnel through which consciousness escapes the cage of karma.

Life is a journey.
But Liberation has a destination...
Upward and Inward.Image
📌 But what exactly happens when the soul exits the body?

Pancha Pranas — the five life-forces keeping you alive 😱

— You think you live just on oxygen?

Rishis said: “Breath is just the carrier. Life runs on Prana.. the universal energy flowing through your body.”

A Thread 🧵Image
In Yoga and Ayurveda, life is more than just chemistry and biology.

👉 It is Prana.. the subtle life-force flowing through every cell, organ, and even thought.

Without Prana, the body is just matter... breath stops, the heart is still, and consciousness departs. Image
The Upanishads describe Prana as the thread binding the soul to the body.

"Prana is the life of beings; it is the fire that burns, the sun that rises, the wind that blows, the rain that falls." — Prasna Upanishad (2.5)

👉 This Prana is not just one current... it expresses itself as five distinct flows to sustain life.Image

Nadi Mandala: The 72,000 Energy Channels Within You 😱

You’ve got arteries, veins, and nerves.

But Rishis said you also have nadis... 72,000 invisible energy channels that shape your consciousness, health, and destiny.

Read this thread 🧵Image
📌 What are Nadis?

“Nadi” in Sanskrit means flow or channel.

But not physical channels like blood vessels.. they are subtle.

Nadis carry prana.. the vital life force, throughout your subtle body.

👉 They are part of your Pranamaya Kosha (energy sheath), not the Annamaya (physical body).

👉 They’re to prana what nerves are to electricity.Image
📌 How Many Nadis Are There?

The Shiva Samhita and Hatha Yoga Pradipika say:

There are 72,000 Nadis originating from the Kanda (a bulb-like center near the navel).

Of these:

👉 10 are major
👉 3 are the most important.. Ida, Pingala, and SushumnaImage

The Science of Time in Hinduism: Yugas and Manvantaras 😱

— Ever wondered how long the universe will last?

Sanātana Dharma doesn’t just guess.. it gives a precise calendar of billions of years.

Let’s explore the deep cosmic clockwork of the Yugas and Manvantaras.

A Thread 🧵Image
📌 What is a Yuga?

A Yuga is an era. There are 4 Yugas:

👉 Satya Yuga – the age of truth
👉 Treta Yuga – ¾ virtue, ¼ decline
👉 Dvapara Yuga – ½ virtue, ½ decline
👉 Kali Yuga – dark age of ignorance

This cycle repeats endlessly.Image
📌 Exact durations (as per Puranas):

Time is measured in Deva years, where:

👉 1 Deva year = 360 human years

🔹 Now, here’s how long each Yuga lasts:

👉 Satya Yuga: 4,000 + 800 (dawn/dusk) = 4,800 Deva years = 1.728 million human years

👉 Treta Yuga: 3,000 + 600 = 3,600 Deva years = 1.296 million years

👉 Dvapara Yuga: 2,000 + 400 = 2,400 Deva years = 864,000 years

👉 Kali Yuga: 1,000 + 200 = 1,200 Deva years = 432,000 years

Total of 1 Mahayuga = 4.32 million yearsImage

The Real Purpose of Life — According to the Upanishads 😱

• It’s not wealth.
• Not pleasure.
• Not even Swarga.

Here’s what the Upanishads say is the true goal of life... and how to reach it.

A Thread 🧵Image
👉 What are you really here for?
👉 Why are you born.. again and again.. only to suffer, strive, and die?

The Rishis asked the same questions... And the answers they received shook the foundations of reality.

Let’s dive into the Upanishads... Image
📌 What is life really about?

According to the Upanishads.. the oldest spiritual texts in the world, life is not meant to chase temporary pleasures.

You are not the body. Not the mind.

👉 You are the Ātman.. the eternal Self.Image

What is Karma made of? 😱

Not all karma is equal.

— Some get erased in seconds.
— Some bind you for lifetimes.
— Some even continue after you’re dead.

Let’s explore the 3 types of Karma.. and what Hinduism really says.

A Thread 🧵Image
Karma literally means “action” — but in Hinduism, it means more:

👉 Action + Intention + Consequence.

Every thought, word, and deed.. done with ego or attachment, leaves an imprint on your soul.

That’s karma. And it doesn’t disappear when you die.Image
📌 There are 3 types of Karma mentioned in Hindu texts like:

• Yoga Vasistha
• Brahma Sutras
• Bhagavad Gita
• Patanjali Yoga Sutras
• Vivekachudamani

👉 Each type binds you in a different way.. and must be handled differently.Image

10 Times Ancient Hindu Texts Predicted Modern Science 😱

— Heliocentrism.
— Atomism.
— Multiverse.
— Black holes.

Hindu texts mentioned them thousands of years ago. Don’t believe me?

Read this 🧵Image
📌 Heliocentrism – Sun is the center of the Solar System

“This earth is devoid of hands and legs, yet it moves ahead. All the objects over the earth also move with it. It moves around the sun.”
— Rig Veda 10.22.14

Long before Copernicus (1543), the Vedas declared that Earth moves around the Sun... not the other way around.Image
Image
📌 Earth is Round

"The Earth is spherical. People at different parts stand upright. The celestial sphere appears the same to all, though they are on different sides of the globe."
— Surya Siddhanta 12.53–55

This implies a spherical Earth.. Centuries before Western thinkers proposed it.Image
