Lebanon’s cabinet just signed off on Washington’s “ceasefire stabilization” plan.
Read the fine print, & you’ll see it’s not a peace plan, it’s a dismantling blueprint.
Here are the poison pills buried inside the clauses you just read 👇
Clause 1
“Exclusive state control over war/peace decisions & weapons.”
Sounds normal, if the state could defend its people.
In Lebanon, this means dismantling Hezbollah while the army remains under-armed & foreign-restricted.
No clause forces Israel to stop daily violations before disarmament.
Clause 3
“Gradual end to all non-state armed presence, north & south of Litani.”
1701 only applied south of the Litani.
This quietly expands it nationwide, dismantling Hezbollah’s entire defense structure, not just its southern front.
Clause 4
“Deploy LAF to border & key sites.”
With no upgrade to rules of engagement or capabilities, this just turns the army into a static, under-equipped buffer for Israel’s benefit.
Clause 5
“Israel withdraws from 5 points, border talks.”
Marketed as a win, but these are crumbs compared to what Lebanon gives up.
No timeline, no enforcement, & nothing on Shebaa Farms, Kfar Shouba, or Ghajar.
Clause 10
“Economic conference to help Lebanon.”
Aid dangled as a carrot for compliance.
Classic US & Gulf play: leverage financial collapse to force political concessions.
Missing in action
No binding guarantee Israel will halt land, sea, or air violations first.
No enforcement if it doesn’t.
No plan to arm the LAF to credible levels.
In short: the occupation remains, only Lebanon’s deterrence disappears.
Legal bottom line
Under international law, a people under occupation have the inherent right to armed resistance, state or non-state, until full withdrawal.

This plan flips that principle: it demands disarmament before Israel leaves, stripping Lebanon of rights the UN Charter itself protects.

Disarming before liberation isn’t “sovereignty.”
It’s surrender, signed, sealed, & gift-wrapped for the occupier.
What’s missing from this US plan?

❌ No binding guarantee Israel stops its daily air, sea & land violations before disarmament.
❌ No enforcement mechanism if Israel refuses withdrawal.
❌ No timeline for ending occupation of Shebaa Farms & Kfarshouba Hills.
❌ No plan to arm the Lebanese Army to a credible defensive level.

Sovereignty without defense isn’t sovereignty, it’s surrender.
📜 “Violation Consequences,” straight from the US-backed plan:
•Lebanon: Military aid frozen, sanctions imposed.
•Israel: A “report” to the UN Security Council.

Translation: If Lebanon missteps, it bleeds. If Israel missteps, it gets a politely worded letter.
💰 “Diplomatic Incentives,” the carrot with a choke chain:
•Lebanese Army: Dangled ~$150M/year in US aid + a conditional $1B donor package for gear & internal security , valid for only 10 years, & only if Hezbollah is dismantled north & south.
•Israel: Gets billions annually in US military aid ($3.8B guaranteed + wartime bonuses) & strategic security guarantees from US/France, no strings attached, no expiry date.
🇱🇧 Lebanon: Gets economic aid, IMF help, private investment, but only after meeting the political & security terms dictated by Washington/Riyadh.

🇮🇱 Israel: Keeps its guarantees regardless of whether it stops violations.

This is definitely not “mutual security,” but a leverage scheme.
Bottom line:
Lebanon is being told: Disarm first, trust later.
Israel is being told: Do whatever, you’re covered.

They pretend it’s peace-building, when in fact it’s financial blackmail in disguise.
And this, ladies & gentlemen, every unbalanced clause, every loaded condition, is what our lackey leaders just signed up for.

Not surprising, since both were parachuted into their posts, & appointed to deliver this very moment.
The ink isn’t even dry, & it’s already payback time.
⚠️ Everyone asking “what now?” needs to think about how this would even be enforced. You can’t dismantle the country’s most powerful armed group without either sparking civil strife or fracturing the army. Hezbollah will not hand over weapons before Israel fulfills its obligations & if forced, the risk isn’t “political fallout.” It’s war. Hezbollah is acutely aware of the dangers of internal strife & has no intention of triggering or being dragged into one & the other side knows it too.

🧵The Two-State Solution is Dead. What the world is offering Palestinians isn’t a state.

The concept of a two-state solution for Israel and Palestine is often presented as a path to peace, but it has become an empty promise, a diplomatic illusion that distracts from the reality of occupation and apartheid. This thread examines why the two-state solution was & is no longer viable, analyzing its historical promises, current realities, & inherent flaws.Image
1- All this talk of a two-state solution is delusion at best, distraction at worst.
Israel’s leadership has made it clear: it has no intention , ZERO, of allowing a sovereign Palestinian state, EVER.
Even Netanyahu has said it: “There is no post-war scenario that would lead to a Palestinian state.”
This collides with the idea of sovereignty.
This stance reveals a fundamental contradiction: a “state” without sovereignty is not a state, it’s a rebranded occupation.
Israel’s actions, settlement expansion, annexation policies, & daily violence, genocidal rhetoric, demonstrate that the system is designed to prevent Palestinian statehood, not enable it. It’s not a bug, it’s the system.
The rhetoric of a two-state solution persists as a diplomatic distraction, masking the reality of apartheid while offering Palestinians a hollow promise.
So what are you negotiating? A mirage? A hostage with a flag isn’t a state? Stop dressing up apartheid as diplomacy.Image
2- Let’s assume, just for argument’s sake, a Palestinian state was declared tomorrow, its functionality would be impossible under current conditions.
The proposed state would consist of two disconnected territories: Gaza in the southwest and the West Bank in the northeast, separated by a heavily militarized Israel. Israel controls all borders, airspace, and movement between these regions, rendering Palestinian autonomy dependent on Israeli permission.Image

Since Brigitte Gabriel (@ACTBrigitte) is going viral again, thanks to a conveniently cropped clip that hides her being dismantled on live TV, here’s a thread on who she really is: a paid fearmonger, a fraud, & a walking PR operation. 🧵👇
1: Brigitte Gabriel, born Hanan Qahwaji, is a self-declared “Middle East expert” with a résumé that reads like it was ghostwritten by a Pentagon intern with a God complex & a copy of Orientalism they never finished.
She doesn’t analyse… she sells outrage. Fear is her currency, Islamophobia her product, & Israeli talking points her script.
2: Her backstory? A reheated fairy tale about “Islamist terror” & childhood trauma, stitched together with bad faith & melodrama. It’s crafted to tug heartstrings & open wallets. Spoiler: it’s fiction. Lebanese people know this, the rest of the world is just catching up.

THIS IS HUGE:
Please read.

🧵1/ A leaked investigation reveals the IAEA, the UN’s supposed nuclear watchdog, was infiltrated by a veteran MI6 spy tasked with orchestrating sanctions and covert operations against Iran.
The agency’s “neutrality” is a myth.👇

2/ His name? Nicholas Langman, a British intelligence operative with a long record of dirty work.
He claims credit for helping engineer the West’s economic war on Iran & influencing the IAEA to justify sanctions and isolation.
3/ Iran has long accused the IAEA of colluding with Western & Israeli intelligence.
The result?
🔻 Leaked identities of Iranian nuclear scientists, many later assassinated.
🔻 Supplying intel that helped target Iran’s nuclear sites.
This leak confirms those fears weren’t paranoia; they were reality.

🔴🧵1/
The US just approved a $510 MILLION arms deal for Israel.
The package includes 7,000+ JDAM kits; the same bomb tech that’s been linked to mass civilian deaths in Gaza.
Here’s what that means 👇
#Gaza #USComplicity #Israel
2/ JDAMs - Joint Direct Attack Munitions - are kits that turn ordinary bombs into “precision-guided” weapons.
The deal includes:
💣 3,845 JDAM kits for 2,000-pound BLU-109 “bunker buster” bombs
💣 3,280 JDAM kits for 500-pound MK 82 bombs
Principal contractor: Boeing.
3/ These aren’t hypothetical weapons.
Fragments of JDAM-equipped bombs have already been found at Israeli airstrikes in Gaza ; strikes that killed dozens of civilians, including women & children.
In 2023, HRW documented at least 43 civilian deaths from such strikes.

NUCLEAR DEAL RECAP:
Obama brokered the Iran nuclear deal. Trump tore it up.
But in his second term, Trump reopened negotiations & Iran, despite everything, showed up.
Then came the Israeli strike, backed by Trump.
Now he’s demanding Iran return to talks?

You don’t bomb a country, kill & assassinate mid-negotiation & then expect a handshake.
#Iran #Trump #Hypocrisy
At the time of the strike, Iran was still cooperating with IAEA inspectors.
There was no verified nuclear weapons program & the so-called threat was manufactured, a pretext to derail diplomacy.

This was never about peace. It was about control & when that failed, chaos followed.
#JCPOA #IranNuclearDeal
Netanyahu feared that a deal between the US & Iran was within reach. So he sabotaged it with a preemptive strike.
Trump supported the attack, believing Iran would surrender under pressure.
Instead, he triggered a war.

Why should Iran trust another deal now?
The last time they negotiated in good faith, they were met with missiles.

IMPORTANT: 🧵The Nuclear Hypocrisy 🧵
1/ Everyone who is anyone, knows that Israel has an undeclared nuclear arsenal.
It has never signed the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), nor does it allow IAEA inspections.
Yet, it holds over 80 nuclear warheads, by most expert estimates.
2/ Meanwhile, & since 1992, it has told the world that Iran is “months away” from a nuclear bomb.
Every. Single. Year.
See the record below: 30+ years of fear-mongering, false predictions, & deliberate escalation. Image
3/ So let’s be clear:
This isn’t about non-proliferation. This is about preserving Israel’s nuclear monopoly in the region & using that monopoly to justify war, assassinations, sanctions, & pre-emptive strikes.
