Von Leers (1902–65), Nazi SS officer & Goebbels’ top propagandist, fled to Argentina post-WWII, then to Egypt in ’56. There he rebranded as Omar Amin, pushing Nazi antisemitism across the Arab world via schools, universities & state media—shaping Middle East politics for decades.

Von Leers didn’t just hate Jews. He hated Christianity—calling it a “Jewish sect” that made Europe weak. He dreamed of undoing the victory of Christianity over Islam in the Middle Ages & Islamizing Europe to unite it against the West.

Before WWII, von Leers worked w/ Grand Mufti Hajj Amin al-Husseini, opposing Jewish settlement in Palestine. In Egypt, w/ state backing, he blended Nazi racial doctrine, Arab nationalism & calls for Israel’s destruction—teaching an entire generation to see genocide as policy

CIA files show Egypt hired von Leers as propaganda chief, Arab League liaison & Nazi veterans’ network leader (ODESSA). He kept ties w/ global ex-SS networks, funneling men & money while advising Nasser’s regime on anti-Israel, anti-West strategy.

Von Leers saw Bolshevik Russia as Germany’s “natural ally” & pushed Arab-Soviet cooperation vs. the West. His propaganda themes often helped Communism more than Nazism—early example of today’s Red-Green-Brown alliances targeting Israel & Judeo-Christian values.

Nazis like von Leers hated “Jewish Christianity,” seeing it as moral restraint blocking pagan/Germanic traditions. Hitler admired Islam’s warrior ethos, calling Christianity “meek & flabby.” Von Leers embraced Islam as tool to replace Judeo-Christianity in Europe.

To him, WWII wasn’t over—it just shifted fronts. The enemy wasn’t only the Jew—it was the entire Judeo-Christian civilization. He envisioned a Red-Green-Brown alliance: Islamists, communists & Nazis united to crush the West.

This alliance targeted Christians too—especially Christian Zionists. It’s why anti-Israel propaganda often carries an undertone of anti-Christian bigotry. To Leers, both faiths had to be uprooted for a new world order to rise.

By 1957, von Leers openly advocated Islamizing Europe—undoing Christianity’s medieval victory over Islam. He framed it as geopolitical unification vs. East & West. Six decades later, his once-radical vision looks eerily like unfolding demographic reality.

In Cairo, von Leers tied antisemitism to “anti-imperial” Third-Worldism—mobilizing non-Europeans vs. Israel. This line echoed in UN’s 1975 “Zionism = Racism” resolution & Durban 2001’s antisemitic frenzy. His strategy still fuels “anti-colonial” attacks on Israel today.

Leers advised Egypt’s top brass, including Abdel Kader Hatem, later PM during the Yom Kippur War. CIA shifted view from “low influence” (’57) to “1st-ranking German” in Egypt (’59). His reach ran from military planning to shaping Arab League propaganda.

Von Leers’ life shows the Nazi-Islamic-Communist axis wasn’t just anti-Jewish—it was anti-Christian & anti-West. From Goebbels’ office to Nasser’s Cairo, he carried the same mission: destroy the Judeo-Christian world & replace it w/ a totalitarian, eliminationist creed.

What we face today—Islamist terror, Marxist “anti-colonial” rhetoric, & neo-Nazi revival—isn’t new. It’s the same century-old alliance Leers embodied. Their war was never just vs Jews—it’s vs every pillar of Judeo-Christian civilization.
