🚨Avi Loeb: No Clear Evidence For Water Around 3I/ATLAS

Despite the headlines, Avi Loeb just dropped a harsh reality check stating the data doesn’t back the claims.

Two papers claim “Water detected.” Neither hold up under scrutiny.

🧵 Let’s break it down:

#3IATLAS #UAP #SpaceNewsImage
1/
Claim 1: “Water ice in the coma of 3I/ATLAS”
Source: Yang et al. (2025)
They tried fitting 3I’s spectrum with a mix:
70% rock (Tagish Lake-type) and 30% water ice.
Their near-IR data is noisy, but more importantly, the water model doesn’t fit the data at all says Loeb.
2/
Where the model expects dips, the spectrum rises. Where the model expects peaks, the data drops.
Avi points out the obvious, that they didn’t even do a basic chi-squared test.

Yet they confidently wrote “Water Ice in the Coma” in the title.
3/
Claim 2: “Water Detection in the Interstellar Object 3I/ATLAS”
Source: Xing et al. (2025)
This paper uses UV imaging from Swift/UVOT targeting OH emission at 3085 Å (a proxy for water vapor).
Seems solid… until you look at the assumptions.
4/
Their whole water production estimate hinges on reddening, the color slope caused by dust.
The catch is that if you plug in the reddening actually measured in the Yang paper (10% per 1000 Å), you get… zero water production

So what did they do?

They used a completely different paper with much higher reddening values to justify their claim.
5/
Avi’s point is simple:
The same data leads to no water in one paper
Yet another paper uses different parameters to extract a big detection. Neither follows basic statistical rigor.
Both jump to legacy comet assumptions.

That isn’t open inquiry, it amounts to box-checking.
6/
He even raises a big red flag, that if 3I/ATLAS were a 20 km rocky body (as the reflectivity suggests), we’d expect to see one of those ejected from interstellar space every 10,000 years.
Yet here it is showing up less than a decade after we started looking.
7/
Oh and its trajectory is aligned with the orbital plane of the planets.
Loeb estimates the odds of that being random at 0.2%.

In other words a targeted inbound path. Anomalous spectrum, and now a fog of bad data trying to make it look "normal."
8/
Loeb’s final point states:
“It is safe to claim detection of the expected, but raw curiosity about the unexpected is far more precious.”

Real science isn’t afraid of weird data. It doesn’t bury anomalies under confirmation bias.

It asks better questions.
9/
🚨 So no, there’s no confirmed water around 3I/ATLAS.
What we have are:
Assumptions dressed as results.
Legacy thinking applied to an interstellar unknown.
A refusal to run the most basic statistical tests.

Ask yourself why!

🚨They Put Monks In An EEG And Caught The “Light Body” Switch Flipping!

Science just measured what mystics have been since claiming forever.

Long term meditators can manually ignite a brain state that fuses mind, body, and heart into one system.🧵👇 Image
2/
When it happens, the whole body starts emitting more light. Here’s the sequence:

• Alpha (8–12 Hz) Chatter stops, mind goes quiet.
• Theta (4–8 Hz) Heart opens, emotions regulate.
• Gamma (>40 Hz) Every region of your brain fires in sync, awareness locks into one unified field.
3/
In gamma, your nervous system isn’t just running signals, it’s coherent.
Heart, brain, and body are pulsing together like one machine.
When that happens, your cells put out more biophotons an ultraweak light we all emit, but now amped up and laser-like.

🚨 3I/ATLAS Is This an Interstellar Probe? 🚨

NASA spotted it on July 1st. It’s not acting like a normal comet. Harvard’s Avi Loeb says the odds of its arrival & path being random are astronomically small.
#UAP #3IATLAS #SpaceMystery
2/
Only the 3rd interstellar object ever detected after Oumuamua & Borisov. But this one’s bigger than Manhattan and flying at 135,000 mph straight through our cosmic neighborhood.
ETA near Earth is late Nov/early Dec.
3/
The trajectory is suspicious, its on the same orbital plane as our planets within 5° of their orbits.
Its set to slings by Mars, Venus & Jupiter in quick succession, and the odds of that happening naturally are 1 in 20,000.
That’s flight path precision not coincidence says Avi.

🚨 3I/ATLAS Is Leaking Water In Deep Space And It's Not Supposed To.

A new peer reviewed study just confirmed OH emission in the third interstellar object ever discovered.

Translation? This thing is venting water 3.5 AU from the Sun.

🧵 Here's why that matters:👇

#3IATLAS #Interstellar #AstronomyImage
1/
Let’s start with the big headline:
Using NASA's Swift/UVOT telescope, astronomers directly detected OH emission near 3085 Å, the UV fingerprint of H₂O sublimation in the coma of 3I/ATLAS.

This is the first confirmed water detection in the object.

Source: arxiv.org/abs/2508.04675
2/
That detection alone would be wild at this distance.
But here’s the kicker thing, at 3.51 AU from the Sun, water ice isn’t supposed to sublimate efficiently. Most comets rely on CO or CO₂ outgassing that far out.

So how the hell is this thing spraying 40 kg of water per second?

🚨 The Loeb Scale: A 0–10 System to Rank Interstellar Anomalies Has Just Been Proposed

Avi Loeb just co-authored a scientific scale to classify interstellar anomalies from comets to potential alien tech.

It’s called the Loeb Scale, and it might do for UAP-adjacent space objects what the Torino Scale did for asteroid threats.

🧵Here’s what you need to know👇Image
2/
The Loeb Scale (officially the Interstellar Object Significance Scale, or IOSS) is a 0–10 framework designed to:

Rate interstellar objects (ISOs).
Flag technosignatures.
Trigger planetary defense protocols if needed.

It fills a dangerous gap.
3/
Timing is everything. The Vera C. Rubin Observatory is about to start detecting a new interstellar object every few months.

Most will be natural, some might not be.

We need a standardized way to assess risk and potential intelligence.

🧵 The Truth About the Orbs: Metallic Spheres, Foo Fighters, and the Pentagon’s Silence

Donald Trump said that pilots told him round objects were moving "4x faster than my F-22."
This is not new. It's a long, strange thread 👇 Image
2/
On July 24, the Senate confirmed former fighter pilot Matthew Lohmeier as Under Secretary of the Air Force.
In high school, he had a close encounter with a glowing orb in the Arizona wilderness.
“It seemed conscious, observing us, buzzing with life. Not man-made.”
3/
Trump said he interviewed "four or five" Air Force pilots who described the same type of object:
A spherical craft that outran jets.
One told him:
“All I know, sir, there was a round object going four times faster than my F-22.”

🚨 3I/ATLAS: The Oldest Interstellar Visitor We’ve Ever Seen Is Breaking All the Rules

Brand new data from the SOAR Telescope in Chile shows that it's red as observed with Oumuamua and 2I/Borisov.

It’s growing a coma but with NO detectable gas.
🧵👇
#3IATLAS #Astronomy #Space Image
2/
SOAR/Goodman observations (July 3, 2025) captured its spectrum from 370–700 nm.
At 4.4 AU from the Sun, it already had a visible coma.
But there is no CN, C₂, CO⁺, or water bands.
This thing is dusty, but not sublimating like normal comets.
3/
The spectrum is red, extremely red at blue wavelengths. Comparable to the most primitive outer Solar System bodies & extreme trans-Neptunian objects.
Likely coated in complex organics or radiation altered material.
