Kundalini: The Serpent Power at the Base of Your Spine — According to Yogic Texts 😱
Ancient yogis say this coiled energy can rise like lightning, pierce every chakra, and dissolve the limits of the human mind.
But awakening it is not without danger…
A Thread 🧵
At the base of your spine, curled up like a sleeping serpent, lies a power so ancient and so vast…
that sages claimed it could burn away lifetimes of karma.
👉 They called it Kundalini Shakti.
Most people will live their entire lives without even knowing it exists.
Kundalini isn’t just “energy” in the modern wellness sense.
In Yogic science, it is described as the primal creative force... the very Shakti that created the cosmos.
This isn’t philosophy.
👉 Ancient texts speak of it as a real, tangible force within the human body.
The Hatha Yoga Pradipika calls it “a coiled power” lying dormant at the base of the spine in the Muladhara Chakra.
Here it sleeps, coiled three and a half times, blocking the central energy channel known as Sushumna Nadi.
👉 Until it awakens, higher spiritual states remain closed.
Yogic anatomy says we are not just flesh and bone... we are woven through with nadis, subtle channels through which prana flows.
The three most important are:
— Ida
— Pingala
— Sushumna
👉 Kundalini’s journey happens inside the Sushumna.
📌 So what happens when this serpent awakens?
The yogis say it rises upward through the Sushumna, piercing one chakra after another... six main energy centers from Muladhara to Ajna...
...until it reaches the Sahasrara, the thousand-petaled lotus at the crown of the head.
👉 When it gets there… everything changes.
📌 The awakening is not just a “spiritual feeling.”
It is said to greatly alter perception, dissolve the ego, and grant direct experience of the divine.
No longer does the seeker “believe” — they see.
⚠️ But it’s not without danger.
The ancient yogis warn that a premature or forced awakening can cause intense mental, emotional, and even physical disturbance.
Why?
Because Kundalini doesn’t just give light... it burns away all impurities on its path.
📌 The Shiva Samhita says:
“When the Kundalini is awakened, the doors of liberation are opened. When it sleeps, the man remains bound.”
To awaken it without guidance is like trying to harness lightning with your bare hands.
📌 Traditionally, Kundalini is awakened through years of disciplined sadhana:
👉 Purifying the body with asanas
👉 Refining breath through pranayama
👉 Locking energy with bandhas
👉 Focusing the mind through mantra and meditation
Each stage prepares the vessel to handle the power.
But here’s the most fascinating part:
👉 Many yogis say Kundalini is not “activated” from the outside at all.
It awakens when the seeker’s heart, mind, and karma are ready... sometimes spontaneously, sometimes at the touch of a guru’s grace.
👉 When the serpent power rises, it pierces the chakras... each one unlocking new states of awareness.
• Muladhara → stability and survival
• Svadhisthana → creativity and desire
• Manipura → will and transformation
• Anahata → compassion and love
• Vishuddha → expression and truth
• Ajna → vision and intuition
And then… Sahasrara.
At the crown, Kundalini merges with pure consciousness.
The yogi experiences Samadhi... a bliss so vast that all earthly pleasures fades in comparison.
👉 This is moksha.
👉 Every human being carries this potential.
Most never even know it’s there.
Others hear of it but dismiss it as myth.
And a few... a rare few, dedicate their lives to awakening it.
⚠️ Kundalini is not a casual curiosity.
It is the fire of creation itself, sleeping inside you. Approach it with devotion, discipline, and humility…
And maybe, one day, the serpent will rise.
If you had the power to awaken the force that could end your rebirths and merge you with the divine…
Copper Bottle & Morning Water: Why This Vedic Habit is Making a Comeback... 😱
In Kali Yuga's polluted times, our rishis gifted us Tamra Jal... water stored in copper.
This ancient ritual is exploding again... here's why it's pure Vedic science, not trend.
A Thread 🧵
📌 What is Tamra Jal?
Fill a pure copper bottle with clean water at night.
> Leave it 6-8 hours (overnight).
> Copper ions leach in via oligodynamic effect... naturally charging the water.
> Drink first thing in morning on empty stomach.
👉 This is Usha Paana upgraded... flushes toxins, ignites Agni.
📌 Why Copper?
Charaka Samhita (Sutra Sthana) & Sushruta Samhita mention Tamra for cleansing water, treating skin/liver issues & as antimicrobial.
Ancient texts say copper purifies like fire... kills bacteria, viruses & makes water pure.
👉 Modern studies too confirm... copper pots eliminate E.coli, Salmonella in 16 hrs! (PMC research)
Sanātana Dharma gives us four sacred goals of human life (Purusharthas): Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha.
These aren't separate pursuits... they interweave for a fulfilled existence.
