#Jesus said "pray not as heathen, nor on street corners, or synagogues or temples, but seek ye the Father Within that He may reward ye openly"

So what do his enemies do? Immediately build churches and temples, hoist a symbol of his crucifixion atop them and go into them to pray.

They destroyed his message; St. Jerome and others hid and restructured his beliefs and teachings; those seeking power and money assigned themselves roles in a new religion: priests, popes and everything in between making a mockery of Jesus' simple teachings.

They took away Jesus most important message: YOU are responsible for your actions and your salvation. There is no divine intercession - only a relationship between YOU & GOD. If you want to go to a better place you have to earn it & understand it.

Jesus' analogy of the "5 wise and 5 foolish virgins" illustrated this. Those who were prepared and had oil in their lamps could go to the wedding & those who didn't could not. Same with heaven or any future paradise -without having oil in your lamp and preparing, you can't go.

Origen, the most learned Christian scholar ever to exist had most of his works burned because they shared these anti-church/temple teachings and stressed & explained the relationship of God & each individual and how we evolve -working out misdeeds & becoming more intelligent.

St. Jerome was brought to the Pope for rewriting and editing the bible & the works regarding Jesus' life & teachings. Jerome told the Pope that the church could not survive with those teachings in it -that all churches would disappear (& their power)
The Pope agreed.
Jesus wept.

Most 99% were illiterate so the writings of Origen only influenced a few scholars & maybe 1000 were following Jesus' teachings as taught. But as more were learning to read people were asking:

"Wait, Jesus didn't want any churches or to participate in any organized religion?!"
