2. This is Sri Ramanujacharya (1017–1137 CE) the spiritual giant who revived Bhakti across Bharat, spreading the philosophy of Vishishtadvaita (Qualified Non-Dualism).

3. Unlike other ancient remains, this is not a statue, not a replica, and not embalmed like Egyptian mummies.
It is the saint’s real body, seated in eternal meditation.

4. The preservation process is purely natural & devotional:
Daily application of sandalwood paste .
Use of saffron for fragrance & sanctity
No modern chemicals. Only sacred care, love, and divine grace.

5. His body rests in the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, directly behind his golden idol.
Devotees can have Darshan of both-the idol in front and his actual form just behind it.

6. For 9 centuries, this miracle has endured floods, wars, invasions, and time itself untouched by decay.
