A Poem for @NormaFoleyTD1 :
In the eerie glow of a harvest moon, A politician cloaked, arriving too soon, With a smile so slick, and a hand to shake, On Halloween night, a different path she'd take.
"Trick or Treat," she'd say with a grin, Promising futures, but where to begin? "Better schools, clean air, and jobs galore!" Yet, behind her mask, there's so much more.
She canvassed the streets with her candy of lies, Each promise sweet, each word a disguise. "For every child, a brighter day!" But her gaze, it lingered, in a peculiar way.
