Secrets of Pralaya — How the Universe will End as per Sanātana Dharma 😱

Every beginning has an end.

In Hinduism, creation and dissolution are eternal cycles. Worlds arise, flourish… and collapse into nothingness.

👉 But how exactly will this universe end?

A Thread 🧵Image
🔹 Vishnu Purana:

"Creation arises from the Unmanifest. After a long time, it dissolves back into that same Unmanifest, like bubbles in water."

👉 The Universe is not permanent. It’s a cosmic breath of Brahman.Image
Image
📌 Sanātana Dharma speaks of 4 kinds of Pralaya (cosmic dissolution):

👉 Naimittika (Occasional) – At the end of each day of Brahma.
👉 Prakritika (Natural) – At the end of Brahma’s life.
👉 Atyantika (Liberational) – When the soul transcends rebirth.
👉 Nitya (Constant) – The everyday cycle of birth & death.Image
Image
📌 Naimittika Pralaya

At the end of Brahma’s day (4.32 billion years), the three worlds (Bhur, Bhuvah, Svah) are destroyed.

Fire from Sesha Naga, storms, and cosmic floods engulf existence.

👉 When Brahma awakens, creation resumes.Image
Image
📌 Prakritika Pralaya

The most terrifying one.

At the end of Brahma’s lifespan (311 trillion years), the entire cosmos dissolves.

👉 Earth, planets, galaxies, devas, asuras, even time itself → all merge back into Maha-Prakriti (Primordial Nature).Image
Image
🔹 The Shiva Purana says:

"When dissolution comes, Agni (cosmic fire) consumes all. The oceans dry, stars fall, winds rage, and all that is seen perishes. Only the Eternal Shiva remains."Image
Image
📌 Atyantika Pralaya

This is the personal end of the universe for an individual.

When one attains Moksha, the cycle of rebirth ends.

👉 For the liberated soul, Samsara itself is dissolved. No more bondage. No more universe.Image
📌 Nitya Pralaya

The daily cycle of creation & destruction.

Every sunrise is creation.
Every nightfall is dissolution.

Every breath in → creation.
Every breath out → dissolution.

👉 This is a reminder that... Pralaya isn’t just cosmic, it’s happening every moment.Image
📌 But how will our Universe end?

The Puranas describe a terrifying vision:

— 7 Suns will rise, scorching the earth.
— Oceans will boil away.
— Storms & quakes will shatter worlds.
— Stars will collapse into darkness.

(Bhagavata Purana)Image
Image
After fire consumes everything, deluge follows.

Waters rise and cover all three worlds.
Brahma, the creator, goes into sleep.

👉 Everything returns to the state of undifferentiated chaos... the womb of Maha-Shakti. Image
Image
👉 Then comes silence.

Time itself dissolves.
No days, no nights, no motion, no space.

Only the infinite stillness of Brahman remains. The same state before creation ever began.Image
But, Pralaya is not the end.
It is just a pause.

After dissolution comes new creation.
After silence comes sound... Aum.
After death comes rebirth.

👉 The cycle is eternal.Image

Chakras & Lokas: The Cosmic Map Hidden in Your Spine 😱

What if I told you… your body is not just flesh and bones, but a living universe?

According to Hinduism, the seven chakras are not merely “energy centers.” They are portals that connect you to the seven lokas.

🧵Image
We usually think of the spine just as a biological structure... bones, nerves, tissues.

But the sages described it as Meru Danda... a miniature Mount Meru, the cosmic axis that holds together the universe.

👉 Just as Mount Meru connects the earthly realm to the heavens, your spine connects the physical body to higher dimensions.Image
Image
📌 At the base of the spine rests Muladhara Chakra, the root.

It corresponds to Bhu-loka, the material plane we live in.

This is the realm of survival, stability, and grounding.

It is where consciousness is most tightly bound to matter, to earth.Image

Sleep & Dreams in Hinduism — Why Deep Sleep is Called ‘Mini-Samādhi’ 😱

We spend 1/3rd of our life in sleep.

Yet rishis saw sleep not as unconsciousness, but as a gateway to the Self.

Let’s explore what the Upanishads, Gita, and Yogic texts reveal... 🧵Image
Most people think sleep is just “rest for the body.”

But in Sanātana Dharma, sleep (nidra) is more than rest.

It is a state where the soul temporarily withdraws from the senses, the mind quiets down, and the ego dissolves.

👉 That’s why deep sleep feels so blissful.Image
The Mandukya Upanishad... the shortest yet most profound, explains four states of consciousness:

🔹 Jagrat (Waking) – outward experience.
🔹 Swapna (Dreaming) – inner experience through impressions.
🔹 Sushupti (Deep Sleep) – no desires, no dreams, just peace.

👉 And beyond all these is Turiya — pure Consciousness.Image

Rebirth Explained: Where Does the Soul Go Between Two Lives? 😱

We’ve all heard “the soul never dies, it just takes another body.”

But what actually happens in between?
Where does the soul go, what does it face, and who decides its rebirth?

Here's the secrets of rebirth... 🧵Image
Most people think of rebirth very simply:
“After death → next life.”

But the Rishis describe a far more mystical and elaborate journey.

Death is not an end. It is a passage. A great migration of the atman.Image
The soul leaves the body, but it does not instantly get another.

It first enters a mysterious intermediate state. Image

Vajikarana: The Ancient Secret to Vitality, Fertility & Longevity 😱

Most people think Vajikarana is just an “aphrodisiac therapy.”

But.. Ayurveda says, it’s the science of life force, stamina, immunity, mental clarity, and longevity.

A Thread 🧵Image
Vajikarana is one of the eight branches of Ayurveda (Ashtanga Ayurveda), yet it is widely misunderstood.

👉 Charaka Samhita explains:

“Vajikarana strengthens Shukra, nourishes all Dhatus, enhances Ojas, prolongs life, and sharpens intellect.”

It is a science of total vitality, not just sexual function. It restores the body and mind to a state of optimal health.Image
Image
The core of Vajikarana lies in Shukra Dhatu (reproductive tissue) and Ojas (the subtle essence that sustains immunity, strength, and mental clarity).

👉 When Ojas is abundant:

• Immunity is strong
• Mind is sharp
• Energy is high
• Aging slowsImage

The 28 Narakas (Hells) Described in Bhagavata Purana 😱

Science says everything ends with death. But… the Bhagavata Purana says otherwise.

For the sinful, death is only the beginning... a journey through realms that even reading about them can shake your soul.

A Thread 🧵Image
Maharshi Shukadeva Goswami tells King Parikshit about the 28 hells where sinful souls go to experience the results of their actions.

These are not eternal punishments... after experiencing the results, the soul is reborn according to its karma.

👉 This is not meant to scare, but to remind us to live with dharma (righteousness) in mind.Image
📌 Tamisra — The Hell of Darkness

This is for those who steal others’ wealth, betray trust, and deny rightful inheritance.

The soul is bound, beaten, and thrown into utter darkness where hunger and thirst burn eternally.Image
