Before telescopes,before space agencies…
Ancient rishis described the cosmic timeline in mind-bending precision.
They called it Manvantara-a vast cycle of creation & destruction.
🧵A #Thread on the Vedic theory of time and the life of the cosmos...👇
2. What is Manvantara?
Sanskrit: Manu - progenitor of mankind
Antara -interval or span
Literally: “The time span of a Manu” the ruler of a cosmic age.
It’s not centuries- not millennia- but hundreds of millions of years.
3. The Cosmic Clock
According to Vedic cosmology:
1 Day of Brahma - 4.32 billion years
Each day -14 Manvantaras + 15 Sandhyas
Night -same length as the day.
4. The Scale of Creation
1 Manvantara -306.72 million years
Each Manvantara has 71 Maha-Yugas (4 Yugas in each)
A Maha-Yuga -4.32 million years
Within this:
Satya Yuga -1.728 million years
Treta Yuga - 1.296 million years
Dvapara Yuga - 864,000 years
Kali Yuga - 432,000 years
5. Perspective:- Modern science says our solar system is ~4.57 billion years old.
Vedic texts? They describe Kalpas & Manvantaras that map strikingly close to these scales -yet were written thousands of years ago.
6. Creation -Sustenance - Dissolution
Sandhya - partial creation/devastation
Entire universe breathes in & out with Brahma’s day & night.
When Brahma’s lifespan ends (~311 trillion years), everything dissolves into the Absolute.
7. Why it matters today:
The ancients didn’t just measure time… they experienced it.
They saw themselves as part of a grand cycle- not random specks, but conscious sparks in an eternal rhythm. 8. Next time you look at the night sky, remember:
You’re living in just a blink of Brahma’s day.
Ancient India’s vision of time is as infinite as the cosmos itself.

The 18 Siddhars-Mystic masters who unlocked the secrets of immortality, medicine, alchemy & enlightenment.
🧵A #Thread on the sages who shaped the Siddha Tradition, one of the world’s oldest healing and spiritual sciences. 👇
2. What is Siddha?
An ancient Tamil spiritual & medical system
Blends yoga, meditation, alchemy, astrology & herbal medicine
Goal: Perfect the body, purify the mind, realize the Divine
The Siddhars weren’t just healers-they were spiritual scientists.
3. The Divine Beginning
The Siddha lineage begins with Nandi Devar, disciple of Lord Shiva himself.
From Nandi- to Agasthiyar-to generations of masters who spread the light.
They walked the earth but lived beyond human limits.
The 900-Year+ Miracle of Sri Ramanujacharya’s Eternal Presence.
In the heart of Srirangam, Tamil Nadu, lies a sight that defies time itself.
The actual body of one of India’s greatest saints, perfectly preserved for over 900 years + without chemicals, without mummification.
🧵A #Thread.......👇
2. This is Sri Ramanujacharya (1017–1137 CE) the spiritual giant who revived Bhakti across Bharat, spreading the philosophy of Vishishtadvaita (Qualified Non-Dualism).
3. Unlike other ancient remains, this is not a statue, not a replica, and not embalmed like Egyptian mummies.
It is the saint’s real body, seated in eternal meditation.
We are the descendants of sages, warriors, and visionaries who built one of the oldest civilizations on Earth.
Our roots run deep into the Vedas, Upanishads, and Sanatan values.

2. Do not forget our roots – they are the foundation that kept Bharat alive through invasions, colonization, and modern challenges. Without them, we lose our identity.
3. Do not forget our ancestors – from Rishis who gave the world eternal wisdom, to Kshatriyas who fought to protect our Dharma. Their sacrifices flow in our veins.
Chanting Sanskrit isn’t just spiritual -it’s scientifically brain-boosting.
Modern neuroscience calls it The Sanskrit Effect.
A #Thread on how the world’s oldest language is shaping the future of brain research...👇
2. What is the Sanskrit Effect?
Term coined by neuroscientist Dr. James Hartzell after studying Vedic pundits.
He found that years of chanting & memorizing Sanskrit texts significantly enhance brain cognitive functions.
3. The research: 21 trained Sanskrit scholars studied
MRI scans showed increased grey matter density in regions linked to memory, attention & thinking speed
Brain connectivity was stronger, like an upgraded processor.
Trigonometry- a cornerstone of modern science- was not born in Europe.
It’s a gift from Ancient India, refined by the genius Aryabhata 1,500 years ago.
🧵#Thread Here’s how India shaped the math that shapes our world.👇
2. Who was Aryabhata?
Born in 476 CE, he was India’s legendary mathematician-astronomer.
Author of Aryabhaṭiya at just 23 years old.
Calculated Pi ≈ 3.1416, explained eclipses, and mapped planetary motion.
3. Trigonometry’s Indian Roots
In Sanskrit, the terms were:
Jya - sine
Kojya - cosine
Utkrama-jya - tangent
Kotijya -cotangent
These were later translated into Arabic as jiba & kojiba, and finally into Latin as sinus (sine).
Have you ever seen architecture that speaks to the Moon ?
Welcome to the marvel of Bharatiya Vastukala where science, spirituality & beauty unite in stone.
🧵#Thread Let me take you to the Swarg Mandapa… 👇
2. In this temple’s grand Mandapa, there’s a circular opening in the ceiling.
Once a year, on Kartik Purnima, the full moon aligns perfectly in its center just as the ancient architects intended.
3. No modern equipment.
No computers.
Only deep knowledge of astronomy, geometry & Vastu Shastra.
Our ancestors calculated the Moon’s path centuries ago, and etched it into stone forever.
