Here’s where the antimatter lens gets interesting.
If 3I/ATLAS were antimatter, it would annihilate every speck of normal dust it plows into in the Solar System.
That annihilation would release gamma rays and X-rays at about the same power scale we’re already seeing in visible light.

Think about running in the rain, your front gets wetter.
3I/ATLAS is moving at 61 km/s. Its forward face would slam into more dust than its back, making that side heat up brighter.
If we see that effect, brighter front than sunlit side, it’s not just sunlight. It’s annihilation.

Don't panic we’ll get a test soon. At perihelion on Oct 30, 2025, its motion will be perpendicular to the Sun.
If heating still favors the forward face instead of the sunlit side, the antimatter hypothesis gains weight.

Everywhere we look in the Universe, matter dominates.

Officially, 3I/ATLAS is just a comet, but it’s too big, too bright, and too rare to ignore the stranger possibilities.
If Fermi or Chandra pick up the radiation signature, then antimatter’s not science fiction anymore.
