Meet Andrew Seal, one of the experts behind the IPC's new "Gaza famine" report.
A Senior Lecturer at University College London, Andrew is a fanatical anti-Israel activist who was already crying "genocide" as early as October 28, 2023.
But that's not all 🧵
First off, here you can see Andrew's name listed on the new IPC report, and a tweet from UCL tagging Andrew's X account, so we know it's him.
Now, onto business.
Here's Andrew coming to the Houthi terrorists' defense by suggesting that they were merely trying to enforce the Genocide Convention when attacking ships at sea
"The destruction of the state of Palestine by Jewish insurgents"
And here he suggested in November 2023 that the U.S. should threaten to cut off aid from Israel
Whining about nonexistent "apartheid" in Israel since 2019
Sharing Al Jazeera videos glorifying Palestinian terror groups like the Lion's Den
And finally, in response to a video of Hamas official Ghazi Hamad vowing to commit October 7th's again and again, Andrew responded that Hamas shouldn't have to be forced from power because Israel's also bad 🤷♂️
H/T to the brilliant @MarkZlochin for inspiring me to do this thread
.@theIPCinfo has consistently got its forecasts wrong since the onset of the Hamas-Israel War
The latest IPC alert wrongly labeled the 15% MUAC reference as a “famine threshold.” IPC’s own manual says it’s Phase 4 (“Emergency”), not Phase 5 (“Famine”). This misuse lowers the bar for famine designations and exaggerates the crisis beyond what the data shows
— More Food Aid has Entered Gaza Than Anywhere Else in History —
Using the WFP emergency ration of 2,100 calories per person per day — which translates to roughly 0.5 kg — the 1.4m tons of food aid that’s entered Gaza since Oct. 7 would feed all 2.2m people for ~1,312 days🧵
That’s over 3 years and 6 months of food. That's literally insane.
Moreover, since the war began, Gaza has received roughly 850 kg of aid per resident—or about 485 kg per person per year. Of that, food alone accounts for ~666 kg per person over 21 months—381 kg per person annually.
You're going to see a lot of tweets over the next 24 hours about the 83% number.
It is — like so many of the other narratives spread about Gaza — completely bogus.
In fact, the article actually debunks itself🧵
More talented data analysts than I can address any math flaws. But even without them, glaring issues remain:
1) At least four other terror groups are active in Gaza (Popular Committees, etc.)
2) The database lists members of the groups’ “military wings,” not their other sectors
The list also doesn't include "operatives who were killed but could not be identified by name, Gazans who took part in fighting but were not officially members of Hamas or PIJ, nor political figures in Hamas...."
Breaking: Coordinated Campaign Unfolding About Hamas Terrorist Anas al-Sharif 🧵
Precisely one hour ago, a group of 17 U.S. senators sent a letter to Secretary of State Marco Rubio about Israel's so-called targeting of Palestinian "journalists."
The letter focuses on al-Sharif.
They write that "Israel has not provided convincing evidence for its claim that al-Sharif was a Hamas militant" and ask whether the State Department will "call for an independent investigation into Mr. al- Sharif’s killing"
Remember: This is a straight-up Hamas terrorist we're talking about here.
The combined evidence provided by the IDF and complemented by open-source intel is overwhelming
The Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM) is hosting baby-faced Hamas propagandist AbuBaker Abed at its annual conference later this month.
It seems like AbuBaker will be making a physical appearance. Why is he being allowed into the US?
Let's break down his terror ties 🧵
Abubaker, a "journalist" working for Drop Site News and the Iranian state-run PressTV, expresses remorse that he hasn't engaged in acts of terrorism like his colleagues in Gaza.
Here he is inciting people to "attack their governments" if they support Israel
Other Disturbing Incidents at Gaza's Nasser Hospital 🧵
In May 2025, the IDF targeted a small area of the hospital complex, killing Hamas “journalist” Hassan Eslaiah, as well as Hamas Colonel Ahmad Al-Qidra, head of the so-called “Counterterrorism” Unit in Khan Younis.
One month prior, @AbuAliEnglishB1 reported that Hamas’ Interior Ministry ordered a Gaza resident to appear for interrogation inside Nasser Hospital. The document was signed:
"Ministry of Interior, West Khan Younis Police, Investigations Dept., Nasser Hospital."
Also in April 2025, @Yair__Lahav reported that Islamic Jihad threatened the head of nursing at Nasser Hospital in Gaza.
"You have crossed the line.. Wait!!
This is the first message...
