🚨 D.C. IS LYING ABOUT ITS CRIME DATA 🚨

Dem politicians claim crime is at a “30-year low”. But police union leaders say the numbers are fake.

Shootings reclassified as “injuries.” Carjackings reported as “thefts.” Assaults that vanish from the stats.

Here’s the truth 👇🧵

2/ MSNBC pretends D.C. crime is down.

But think about it:

🔻 Violent crime supposedly dropped 35% in ONE year (2024).
🔻 Assault, robbery, homicide, & sex abuse all down 25%+—at the same time.
🔻 Sex abuse cases down 50% in 2025.

That’s not policing. That’s fiction.

3/ This supposed “miracle” happened while:

👮‍♂️ The MPD lost 150 officers.
🚔 Arrests fell by more than 700.
📉 Public confidence collapsed.

Less manpower + fewer arrests = record crime decline?

Not possible.

4/ So what’s happening?

👉 D.C. Police Union Chair Gregg Pemberton says commanders routinely order officers to downgrade crimes:

🔫 Shootings → “injured person”
🚗 Carjackings → “theft”
⚠️ Sex abuse → “felony assault”

Result? Crime looks low on paper.

5/ Why use “felony assault”?

Because D.C. doesn’t have to report it to the FBI.

It’s the perfect category for making violent crime disappear.

And Democrats don't care about the rampant violent crime, just so long as they don't look bad.
