Supreme Court to shortly hear YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahabadia aka 'BeerBiceps' plea over multiple FIRs filed against him for controversial remarks on the YouTube show 'India's Got Latent'.

Court had earlier in February granted interim relief to Allahabadia.

Matter is taken up.

Court is informed that the accused comedians part of the show India's Got Latent has apologised.

Justice Bagchi: These are so called influencers who are commercializing speech...and if that is affecting the community at large..

AG: Certain guidelines have to be laid down..

SC: There are various speeches...when there is a overlap between commercial and prohibited speech then you dont have a freedom anymore...

SC: First you put your apology on your podcasts etc..and then you give us an affidavit on how you can carry out the suggestions made my Ms. Aparajita..

SC: The degree of repentance should be higher than the degree of offending.

Court directs the respondents to tender unconditional apology on their Youtube channel.
