The most REVEALING experiment about human psychology:

The Prisoner’s Dilemma.

It explains why empires collapse, your friend lied, and how “playing it safe” is the most dangerous option.

5-step protocol to avoid falling for it: 🧵

WATCH & READ THIS ↓
1950, RAND Corporation.

Two game theorists, Merrill Flood and Melvin Dresher, were studying Cold War strategy.

They made a disturbing discovery:

Even when cooperation helps everyone…human nature pushes us to sabotage each other.
They built a thought experiment to prove it:

Two prisoners.
Isolated.

Each offered the same deal:

* Betray your partner (defect) and go free while they serve 10 years
* Stay silent (cooperate) and both serve 1 year

If both defect? 5 years each. Image
Image
The logic trap:

No matter what the other does…defecting always seems safer for you.

But when both think this way…you both lose more than if you trusted each other.

It’s not just about prisoners. Image
The Prisoner’s Dilemma isn’t a puzzle.

It’s a mirror.

It reflects what happens when fear of betrayal outweighs the rewards of trust.

Then came the breakthrough:

Psychologist Robert Axelrod ran a global competition of repeated Prisoner’s Dilemma games. Image

Two game theorists, Merrill Flood and Melvin Dresher, were studying Cold War strategy.

They made a disturbing discovery:

Even when cooperation helps everyone…
human nature pushes us to sabotage each other.

They built a thought experiment to prove it:

Two prisoners.
Isolated.

Each offered the same deal:
Hundreds of strategies battled for dominance.

The winner? A shockingly simple rule called Tit for Tat.

It worked like this:

1. Cooperate first
2. Do exactly what your opponent did last time

Kindness is met with kindness.
Betrayal is met with instant retaliation.
Why it works:

* Punishes betrayal fast
* Rewards trust immediately
* Builds a reputation for fairness

It’s not about being nice. It’s about being predictable in a way that makes trust profitable.

Here’s the 5-step Prisoner’s Dilemma protocol for REAL LIFE:
Step 1: Identify the game

Look for situations where mutual trust could benefit everyone—but fear pushes people to defect.

If you can spot the dilemma, you can change the outcome. Image
Step 2: Signal trust early

In one-off games, protect yourself.

But in ongoing relationships, start with cooperation.

You invite reciprocity and set the tone. Image
Step 3: Enforce boundaries fast

If the other side defects, respond immediately. No slow fades. No hoping they’ll change.

Betrayal must have a cost.
Step 4: Reward loyalty publicly

People copy what’s rewarded.

When someone cooperates, acknowledge it, praise it, or reciprocate bigger.

Make trust contagious. Image
Step 5: Think in decades, not days

Short-term betrayal is tempting. Long-term cooperation builds empires, legacies, and reputations that protect you when you need it most.

The truth: Life is full of Prisoner’s Dilemmas.

Most people play to avoid losing.

The most ignored warning sign millions are suffering from:

Vivid dreams.

They’re your brain’s early alert system for hidden stress, unresolved trauma, and future illness.

Here’s how to decode them before it’s too late...🧵 Image
Vivid dreams happen during REM sleep - the stage where your brain processes emotions.

Ignore them and the cycle deepens:

• Stress chemicals surging
• More frequent nightmares
• Higher risk of burnout and illness

These warning signs can show up before other symptoms. Image
Image
Step 1: Track & Decode

• Keep a notebook by your bed
• Spot patterns tied to daily stress
• Write dream details on waking, images, emotions, people

Your patterns reveal the root issue your mind is desperate to resolve.

They're crumbs.

The GODFATHER of Negotiation:

Chris Voss.

He is the FBI’s lead kidnapping negotiator who has taken down hundreds of hostage-takers and high-stakes terrorists.

I've collected his 7 most powerful lessons to get anything from anyone:

MEGA THREAD🧵 Image
BACKGROUND:

Chris Voss didn’t start as a smooth talker.

He learned negotiation in the most unforgiving classrooms on earth:

• 24-hour standoffs
• Desperate criminals
• Zero margin for error.

And what he discovered flips everything you think you know about persuasion. Image

1/ FRAMING:

Words are never the starting point.

He says you win before the first sentence by controlling your emotional state.

Because if your voice, face, or body leaks stress, the other side senses weakness before you make a single argument...

This Stanford neurosurgeon just revealed the exact brain mechanism behind manifestation.

• No woo-woo
• No black-magic
• No "law of attraction" B.S

Just pure PSYCHOLOGY that can turn your wildest ideas into reality...

🧵🧵🧵 MANIFEST DREAM → REALITY 🧵🧵🧵 Image
At 12, Dr. Jim Doty was poor, broken, and hopeless.

- Father: alcoholic
- Mother: paralyzed & suicidal
- His family was evicted on welfare

Then a stranger in a magic shop taught him a process that rewired his brain — and his life.
Within years, he’d manifested everything on his list:

• Became a neurosurgeon at Stanford
• Built a multi-million-dollar fortune
• Owned Ferraris and mansions
• Traveled the world with models

So here's a 7-step protocol on how it works: Image

I used to think I was smart & rational.

Then I found the CIA's classified art of manipulation and dark psychology.

Especially these 7 MIND CONTROL techniques separating the survivors from the victims.

Test yourself now: 🧵
The biggest lie about persuasion:

"If I just present enough evidence, they'll see the truth."

Wrong.

The brain treats attacks on beliefs like physical threats. Logic triggers defense, not enlightenment. Image
1/ DON’T ATTACK THE BELIEF — OFFER A BETTER IDENTITY

When confronted with facts that challenge core beliefs, the amygdala activates the same response as facing a predator.

Your "evidence" literally feels like an attack.

I used to be stressed and anxious out of my mind...

Then I found Naval Ravikant and obsessedly spent 400 hours+ binge-watching all of his podcasts online.

His ideas will make you immune to depression & anxiety.

This is Naval's Happiness Protocol: 🧵
Practical philosophy doesn’t have to be abstract.

Naval’s approach is simple:

• Health
• Wealth
• Happiness

If something works for one person, it can work for another.

But that's not all... Image
Live long enough, and you’ll ask:

• How do I stay happy?
• How do I stay healthy?
• How do I get wealthy?
• How do I raise a good family?

I used to have no idea what I wanted in life...

Then I learned the ancient dark psychology of happiness

There're 11 psychological ideas that separate the depressed from happiness:

BECOME THE BLACK SHEEP: 🧵
First, understand this:

Your brain is wired for survival, not joy.

That's why 1 in 6 adults feel depressed right now.

But the Übermensch knows: You can hijack your own mental programming.
1. THE CONNECTION PARADOX

Research proves: relationships predict happiness more than money.

But here's what they don't tell you:

Quality > quantity.

One deep alliance beats 100 shallow connections.

Power move: Cultivate strategic bonds. Image
