But here’s the problem: What Trump is doing in DC is basically martial law, this puts safety over liberty, paves the way for authoritarianism or even totalitarianism, and would result in tragedy if the wrong hands took advantage of this!
Remember when Tim Walz sent the National Guard to keep people locked inside their homes on Minnesota? Or when Andrew Cuomo did that in New York? earned him the name “Grandma Killing Cuomo”

So that’s the big problem with this, and why this should be limited only to DC and other federal districts (if there are any?)

But there’s a frustrating dilemma with this: We can’t allow the lawlessness in blue cities to continue either!

So we’re only being given two choices here:
1. Martial law
2. Public disorder, lawlessness, and Latin American homicide rates
Neither is preferable! We can’t ignore the second option, and the first option is a quick fix to the second option, but permanently threatens liberty!

So to end this off, what we need to do figure out is a third option or compromise that fixes American cities, but doesn’t existentially threaten what the Founding Fathers fought for!
