People who start smoking weed to “self-medicate” face higher risks of depression, paranoia, and psychosis.
The data is damning — and it’s especially bad for teens.
THREAD 🧵
2/ Researchers at King’s College London found:
• Self-medicating users consumed far more THC than others.
• They reported higher rates of anxiety, depression, paranoia.
• Using it to “treat” mental health often worsened mental health.
3/ Starting weed use for “fun” or “curiosity” = fewer negative effects.
Starting weed use for “anxiety” or “depression” = far more paranoia and depression.
Translation: the myth of marijuana as “medicine” for mental health just collapsed.
4/ And teens? It’s even worse.
A separate 2024 study found cannabis users were 11x more likely to develop a psychotic disorder (like schizophrenia).
Adolescents are uniquely vulnerable to permanent brain changes from THC.
5/ The results also tie weed use to childhood trauma.
Researchers found trauma + cannabis = a dangerous multiplier effect.
Cannabis didn’t heal trauma. It amplified paranoia and worsened outcomes.
6/ Here’s the bigger picture:
Legalization was sold as harmless, even beneficial. But the data shows cannabis use fuels:
• Mental illness
• Psychosis
• Crime and violence
• A generation of addicted young people
The costs are staggering.
7/ Bottom line: 🚨
Cannabis is not “medicine” for mental health.
It fuels depression, paranoia, and psychosis — especially in teens.
States were wrong to approach this issue without caution.
Science is catching up to what common sense always knew.

🚨 BOMBSHELL: Trump may deploy a private army to Ukraine.
No U.S. troops. No endless wars. No blank checks.
Instead: American contractors protecting our interests, deterring Putin, and making peace possible.
This is brilliant. 🧵
2/ Here’s the genius:
🔹 Trump promised no U.S. troops in Ukraine.
🔹 He also promised effective security.
🔹 The solution? Use private American contractors — not soldiers — to secure bases, borders, & U.S. business.
Smart. Legal. Deterrence without an offensive army.
3/ They would:
⚡ Rebuild fortifications & bases
⚡ Guard American businesses & interests
⚡ Deter Putin by putting Americans (with U.S. passports) on the ground
If Putin breaks the peace, he knows he risks a U.S. response. But there's no army he has to fear invading Russia.
🚨 A speaker at a Rashida Tlaib-linked pro-Palestinian conference just said this:
👉 “We live in an evil country.”
👉 “We must destroy the idea of America in Americans’ heads.”
And the crowd APPLAUDED. 🧵
2/ This wasn’t a fringe basement meeting.
It was the “People’s Conference for Palestine” in Detroit — featuring multiple extremist speakers, foreign prisoners released in Hamas deals… and sitting Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.
3/ One panelist, Sachin Peddada, didn’t hold back:
🇺🇸 “America is evil.”
🇮🇱 “Israel is a carbon copy of the United States.”
🔥 “We have to dismantle American exceptionalism.”
A 14-year-old girl in Scotland—armed with a knife & hatchet—faced down a migrant predator threatening her baby sister.
The migrant walked free. The girl was arrested.
This shocking moment is the symbol of a nation on the brink. 🧵
2/ This isn’t about one girl.
It’s about decades of betrayal:
👉 Pakistani rape gangs ignored for years
👉 Police arresting critics instead of criminals
👉 Media silencing dissent
👉 Elites protecting themselves, not the people
The system has lost all legitimacy.
3/ In Rotherham alone, 1,400 girls were abused while authorities looked away.
Now a parliamentary inquiry has identified 85 local authorities where child sexual exploitation by organized migrant gangs has taken place—or is still happening.
