FET (Firearms Excise Tax) hits every firearm transaction with an 11% tax, collected by dealers and funneled into programs that undermine lawful ownership.

Gun registries & safe storage: Dealers must document customers’ safe info, giving authorities pre-written warrants for homes and safes - turning compliance into potential criminal liability.

Roster restrictions limit which handguns can be sold in-state, killing competition and forcing people to illegal out-of-state purchases.
