This isn’t a leader; it’s a self-serving fraud who sees public service as his personal piggy bank.
Remember that 1990 campaign? While he was lining his pockets with donor cash, Pence also ran one of the most disgusting, racist ads in modern history. He hired an actor in a stereotypical Arab sheik costume to mock his opponent. This is the man who lectures us on decency? He showed his true colors early on: a cheap bigot willing to use ugly stereotypes to claw his way to power. He has no moral high ground.
As Governor of Indiana, Pence’s moral hypocrisy had deadly consequences. When an HIV outbreak ravaged a rural community due to opioid abuse, Pence delayed authorizing a needle exchange program because of his "moral" objections. He literally prayed on it while people suffered and the virus spread like wildfire. This is his brand of "Christian leadership": letting the vulnerable perish to protect his pious image. Despicable.

In Indiana, he signed one of the most extreme abortion bans in the nation, even forcing women to bury or cremate fetal remains. He pushed to redefine rape to block funding for victims. He is no friend to women or families; he is an extremist who sees women as second-class citizens whose bodies must be controlled by the state.
When Syrian refugees, mostly women and children fleeing war, sought safety, Governor Pence revealed his xenophobic core. He tried to illegally block them from entering Indiana, a move so blatantly discriminatory that his own administration's lawyers knew it would be struck down by the courts—which it was. He talks a big game on borders, but his efforts were nothing but cruel, illegal, and failed political theater.
While the rest of the country was moving toward smarter solutions for addiction, Pence was a relic of the failed drug war. He reinstated draconian mandatory minimum sentences in Indiana, locking up non-violent addicts for a decade or more. This isn't "tough on crime"; it's a policy that destroys families, wastes taxpayer money, and does nothing to solve the root problem. He's always on the wrong side of history.
The mask of the "family man" slips when you look closer. His bizarre rule of never dining alone with any woman who isn't his wife—whom he creepily calls "Mother" in public—isn't about piety. Don't forget Pence’s role in the Ukraine hoax. He was right in the middle of it, meeting with Zelensky as the aid was being held up. He played the loyal soldier in public, but he was a key actor in the Deep State's drama. He wasn't an innocent bystander; he was a willing participant in the events that led to the first sham impeachment of President Trump. He was always complicit.
Remember the outrage over Hillary’s private email server? Mike Pence did the SAME THING. As governor, he used a private AOL email account for official state business, including sensitive security matters. When his account was hacked, he fought tooth and nail to hide the records from the public. It’s the classic swamp hypocrisy: one set of rules for them, another for us.
