Biased global media like to express sympathy for “prisoners of conscience,” using the term as a political tool of pressure.
But why is it not acceptable to talk about this problem in Ukraine?
For many years the US and Europe held up my country as a showcase of aspirations for freedom and democracy.
It didn’t work out.
The result — Zelenskyy’s dictatorship.
Tens of thousands of Ukrainians have been deprived of their freedom for taking a position for peace.
Just think about it: people simply did not want war!
Among them are journalists, clergymen, politicians and ordinary citizens — repressed or killed by the regime.
Today there are two paths in Ukraine: to fight or to be silent — or not exist at all.
I’ve appealed to the President of the United States to help free ALL political prisoners from punishment.
Every day hundreds of people asking for help via email.
I want to share with you some of the most touching stories.

- My daughter, a second-year medical university student, was detained for talking to her godmother, who lives in Russia. Ten trials have already passed, the child is still in a pretrial detention center… The prosecutor is asking for 15 years. Help, save my child.

- A priest, monk and preacher of Christ languishes in captivity; after the start of the war he welcomed countless refugees into the church. He fed them, helped raise children, assisted pregnant women… Convicted for a position for peace. He has been imprisoned for 1.5 years. He’s being taken forinterrogations in the heat without food or water! They are waiting for him to die! Help, we beg you.

- It’s scary to write because you can get a real sentence for telling the truth, but I want to believe in goodness.
Please help!
A top-rank psychotherapist, the founder of an institute who received patients from around the world, was detained by the Zelenskyy regime. Repressed for the truth.

- Our son was arrested for his conversations with friends on social media. They discussed events in Ukraine and why the war started…
Four law-enforcement officers burst into our house and kidnapped our son. They put a sack over his head in the car, drove him out near Kyiv and beat him. As a result — broken ribs, a fractured nasal septum, a concussion. The next day, bloodied, half-alive, with a swollen head, they took him to court to determine pretrial detention.
And since then the court keeps extending his arrest in pretrial detention. Nearly three years now.
That’s the sort of democracy and freedom of speech in Ukraine.

- Hello. Our son died today. A few days ago he had a hearing on extending his pretrial detention. He was accused for his opinion.
For the last two days he lay helpless, delirious, not eating, not drinking, unable to get up; cellmates washed his face with water to bring him back to consciousness.
This is how they kill in Ukraine… Tomorrow we are going bring the body of my son from the morgue.
For five days he lay in the cell helpless, without medical care, which led to his death.

- Good afternoon. I would like to be free. I’m in my third year in prison for criticizing the authorities on social networks. Help me, I’m begging you.
7/11
- My brother has been in prison for three years for political reasons. Trials are not being held, his wife died, his two little children are being looked after by an aunt who already has four of her own. I ask you for help. The children need their father.

- He used to be a successful tennis coach. But because of a rapid illness he became virtually disabled. That did not stop the SBU from accusing him of treason. Allegedly he traveled somewhere and recorded something, although due to his illness he hadn’t driven a car for three years.
In pretrial detention they kept him in an icy cell where he caught a chill and received no help. A month later — after the illness suffered in detention — he died. They even hid it. We learned of his death from a call from the funeral agency offering their services.
9/11
- Help! My father has been in pretrial detention since winter 2022. He went to Donetsk twice to see his daughter and grandson. Yet he was accused of preparing a terrorist attack and participating in a terrorist group.
10/11
War must not justify human rights violations!
Their silence in the cells sounds louder than screams, because the truth stands behind it!
They remind us: freedom is not only the right to speak, but also the duty to hear those who risk everything for the truth. Their courage is a light that breaks through walls and bars.
Freedom for ALL political prisoners in Ukraine!

Today a court in Moldova sentenced an opposition politician Gutsul for 7 years in prison on trumped-up charges. She is a mother of 2 wonderful little children and a woman supported by the people.
It started in France, continued in Romania… now it has reached Moldova! Evil doesn’t want ordinary people to have a voice. Anyone who defends family and traditional values are being destroyed!
We must fight anyway.

She is a mother of two, she has a family. She is a beautiful woman, who stands for family values.
Sandu is afraid of such women!

Gutsul is not against Moldova joining the EU, she just wants peace.
Crowds of supporters followed her into the streets
