Activity on frequencies used by Tu-22M3 strategic bombers suggests that launches of Kh-22 cruise missiles could take place tonight, although it is currently unclear if the activity is training-related.
Earlier, six Tu-22M3s redeployed from Engels-2 Airbase, Saratov Oblast, to Diaghilev Airbase, Ryazan Oblast.
Additional activity is being recorded on the 4389㎑ frequencies, which has been used by Tu-95MS strategic bombers from Olenya Airbase in the past, although a different frequency was used in the most recent attack.
Large numbers of Geran-2 drones are being launched / entering Ukrainian airspace. 40+ are flying through Chernihiv Oblast, likely to the western regions of Ukraine.
So far, launches have been reported from:
Khalino Airbase, Kursk Oblast.
Millerovo Airbase, Rostov Oblast (x2).
Navlya Testing Ground, Bryansk Oblast (x2).
Shatalovo Airbase, Smolensk Oblast.
Tsumbulova Test Site, Oryol Oblast.
Cape Chauda, Crimea.
At least 70 Gerans are currently recorded in Ukrainian airspace.
Activity on combat frequencies related to Tu-95MS and Tu-160 strategic bombers at Engels-2 Airbase, Saratov Oblast, has also been recorded. Departures will probably take place in the near future.
4 Kalibr carriers are operating off the coast of Anapa, Krasnodar Krai, in the eastern Black Sea, including 3 Buyan-M class corvettes, and 1 submarine of the "Varshavyanka" project.
Total possible salvo up 30 Kalibr cruise missiles.
The airspace surrounding Diaghilev Airbase, Ryazan Oblast has been closed from midnight on September 10, to 11:59pm. As many as 6 Tu-22M3s may launch Kh-22 cruise missiles at Ukraine during the attack tonight.
Possible departures of 1 Tu-160 and 1 Tu-95MS from Engels-2 Airbase, Saratov Oblast.
Clarifying.
Sections of airspace in the area of the launch zones for MiG-31Ks in Tambov and Lipetsk Oblasts have been closed. There is a possibility of launches of Kinzhal hypersonic Aeroballistic missiles tonight, but this is not definite.
So far, 2 Tu-95s are confirmed to have taken off from Engel-2 Airbase.
A third Tu-95MS has departed from Engels-2 Airbase.
A fourth Tu-95MS has departed from Engels-2 Airbase.
A fifth Tu-95MS has departed from Engels-2 Airbase.
A sixth Tu-95MS has departed from Engels-2 Airbase. This should be the last one.
Possibly a 7th Tu-95MS departure from Engels-2 Airbase. There could be double-counting with these aircraft, but in theory as many as 8 Tu-95s could have been stationed there.
There are currently ~95 Geran-2 drones in Ukrainian airspace. The vast majority continue to fly to the western regions of Ukraine.
It seems 8 Tu-95s from Engels-2 Airbase are airborne. Those are all of the bombers at the airbase. Not all of them will launch missiles.
Repeated launches of Geran-2 drones have been reported from:
Tsumbulova Test Site, Oryol Oblast.
Khalino Airbase, Kursk Oblast.
Navlya Testing Site, Bryansk Oblast.
Shatalovo Airbase, Smolensk Oblast.
The number of drones detected in Ukrainian airspace has increased to ~115, ~70 of which are flying through Chernihiv Oblast.

Lately I've noticed that Russia has begun launching their Geran-2 drones from new locations, so let's take a closer look at these new launch sites, and the possible meaning behind the expansion of Russia's Geran-2 project.
2/🧵First, let's look back to what locations Russia previously only used for their Geran-2 drone attacks:
This map shows where their launch sites were observed back in July of this year.
3/🧵Three locations were used for these attacks: Cape Chauda in Crimea, Primorsko-Akhtarsk airbase in Krasnodar Krai, and Khalino airbase in Kursk Oblast. The fact that Cape Chauda was used is interesting and is something I will talk about later on in the thread.
Yesterday the Ukrainian AirForce made a claim on what was shot down in yesterday's massive Russian missile strikes. Let's take the time to debunk these claims with facts from the ground.
2/x Firstly, let's take a look at what was reportedly launched, starting off with Kinzhals. In a post on their official Telegram channel, the Airforce claimed that 3 Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" aeroballistic missiles were launched from MiG-31K's from the airspace of Ryazan and Lipetsk.
3/x Based on reports from Ukrainian monitoring channels, 5 MiG-31K's were active at the beginning of the attacks. These monitoring channels tune into the radio frequencies of the Russian pilots and track their movements and activities from that.
As usual, let's start off with missile strikes, drone strikes and explosion reports.
A combined Russian Kh-59 and drone strike was carried out on Dnipro. It reportedly hit the Yuzhmash plant. Yuzhmash is known for its products for the military and space industry.

2/x Three waves of Iskanders were launched at Kryvyi Rih. Multiple explosions were reported.
3/x An Iskander missile was launched at Chuhuiv, Kharkiv Oblast. It reportedly did not hit its target.
