BREAKING NEWS🚨: NASA finds first real evidence of life on Mars Image
NASA’s Perseverance rover has uncovered a Mars rock sample from the Bright Angel mudstone in Jezero Crater that may carry potential signs of ancient microbial life. Minerals like vivianite and greigite suggest organic interactions billions of years ago.
These iron phosphate and sulfide minerals—common products of microbial activity on Earth—are now considered some of the most promising astrobiological clues found by Perseverance since its 2021 landing. But scientists caution alternate abiotic origins remain possible.
The findings, published in Nature, detail these as “potential biosignatures”—not definitive evidence, but features that merit deeper investigation. Dr. Joel Hurowitz leads the analysis team urging caution while highlighting the importance of continued Mars exploration.
Confirming signs of life depends on returning the samples to Earth—currently delayed due to Mars Sample Return budget challenges. NASA is exploring alternative, cost-effective, and faster analytic approaches, possibly even in situ on Mars.
This discovery marks one of the strongest candidate signs yet for past microscopic life on Mars. While not proof, it brings us a significant step closer to answering the profound question: were we ever not alone in the cosmos?

In a research paper authored by Manisha Caleb from the University of Sydney, the team report upon the discovery of FRB 20240304B which lies at a redshift of 2.148 +/- 0.001, corresponding to just 3 billion years after the Big Bang.
The burst, designated FRB 20240304B, was first detected on March 4, 2024, by South Africa's MeerKAT radio telescope array. What makes this discovery extraordinary is its incredible distance, at a whopping redshift of z = 2.148±0.001, or about 3 billion years after the Big Bang.
