He did pay the price he thought other people were willing to pay (including children) so that he could have certain rights.
He didn’t deserve it. But. . . He did gleefully and willingly defended that until the very last moment, participating in the escalation of violent identity politics that put his principles and beliefs over the lives of people and wanted his beliefs to affect the rights and freedoms of others, most importantly: LIFE liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
He didnt deserve it. But . . . He did loudly proclaim that women should be in the kitchen, that littl girls should carry their rapist’s baby, that genocide in Gaza wasn’t real, that the civil rights act was a mistake.
He didn’t deserve it. But. . . He did spread harmful misinformation about Covid, vaccines in general, and said that empathy (the thing required for his political opposites to believe he didn’t deserve it) was a made up term.
We don’t know who did this or why.
But it is already (with no proof or foundation) being used to rebrand the left, from the narrative of “woke” and “snowflakes” and bleeding hearts for every fringe dweller, as now being violent extremists, intolerant of others and incapable of allowing different points of view to exist.

He was complicit in creating the circumstances we are currently in that brought it about. Believing he and his family would remain untouched by the repercussions of his choices.
My heart genuinely and sincerely goes out to his children, wife, and other loved ones who now have to bury their husband, father, son, friend.
But I sincerely hope some of the people on the right start to see that the left is the side arguing for humanity over politics, for human life over lax gun laws, for inclusivity vs “us” and “them” that creates extremists on either side.
The Left is the side arguing for sensible gun reform and for humanization of everyone regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, race, ethnicity, country of origin, religious beliefs. . .
Because no one deserves this.
