Progressive Alliance is a formal group of 140 left/socialist/progressive parties of the world.

The group was made in 1951 by London's Fabian Society which founded British Labor Party, earlier its name was Socialist International, in 2014, Progressive Alliance emerged from it

Its a group of 140 political parties but it also collaborate with progressive NGOs, Think Tanks, Activists, unions, federations etc

So basically its a complete global ecosystem of left leaning outfits of entire world

Group's key objectives are:

1. Equality
2. Wealth redistribution
3. Gender rights
4. LGBTQ rights
5. Multiculturism
6. Fighting against racism and intolerance
7. Climate change

This is where things get interesting.

They have a clearly defined agenda, using their political arms to counter right-wing populist ideology.

In practice, that means all right-wing parties and their affiliated institutions are treated as adversaries
