11 yrs ago today there was an illusion of democracy carried out in Scotland, its indigenous people voted for independence in the majority and were denied it by 3 English political parties in Scotland, England's reserved broadcasting, and an English expat demographic.
But we are never allowed to mention thats what won the referendum, the power of the neigbour next door - the very essence, evidence, of the reason FOR independence in the first place...
Because it would be called "Blood and Soil nationalism" to act just like the English do.
Three English political parties in Scotland worked together to deliver a narrow, some say temporary win.
The used the powers reserved AND devolved to threaten, lie, and promise what they would never deliver in order to keep England "solvent" by what is empirical colonial theft.
The most effective of their ways and means was reserved broadcasting as a means of propaganda - not new, its been that way since long before indy ref, and even long before John Smith would head up a dedicated Labour Govt unit in the 70s to prevent devo.
The referendum then, 1979, Labour had operated in the same manner it did in 2014 - including an amendment where even if Scots voted for devo, which we did, then the Labour Govt could deny it by a "turnout" clause which they did.
Re all they had to do was "lose" ballots.
A referendum where all hardened unionists needed to do was campaign for no to devo, lose ballots, or convince just enough of the electorate to stay at home.
Labour's constitutional electoral fuckery in 2014 wasn't new, they have form.
By 1997 they already had been told that being in the EU meant "devolution" by the European Commission, devo that of course they would write the manuals of which made England an independent country IN the UK with every power reserved to it - including the power to veto devolved.
Its one thing for the Scottish Left to blame the English for Thatcher, despite them blaming the SNP, and believe me it was and still is the English which only elect Tories, but if you mention that as a Scottish Socialist Scottish Labour WILL call it anti English racism.
In effect they call Scots seeking to have every power LABOUR reserved to England devolved to Scotland names like blood and soil nationalists and anti English racists for desiring WHAT England has..
How can we be anti English for wanting to have its powers as our own in or out of the UK?
It takes the politically challenged to ignore that Labour has betrayed Scotland for half a century - and every vote for "Scottish" Labour TODAY consents to it continuing.

@J4m35c4mpb3ll Prior to the creation of Labour as a party there was similar small group activism for worker's rights - once they organised shit got done, and not longer after that they had to be destroyed from within by those which were once our class enemy.
Is history repeating with SNP?
@J4m35c4mpb3ll The route to independence is by dissolving the treaty which retains Scotland, under international acceptance that the SNP demands why doesnt it recognise that route needs no referendum at all - just a party elected in a majority capacity with a manifesto turned mandate to do so?
@J4m35c4mpb3ll Sure some of these "splinter groups" might well already recognise there is more than one way to skin a cat - and fk me if the State we seek to leave doesn't have similar and more numerous taxidermy skills at its disposal..
There was 2 results to the independence referendum in 2014.
Indigenous Scots voted 55% for independence - and were denied it by a franchise which included EU nationals which were lied to, and English "expats" which didnt need to be.
There is also a wee matter that 3 English political parties in Scotland worked together to keep Scotland a de facto pseudo democratic colony of England's unelected elite.
And did so through what is English controlled broadcasting too.
These are facts, which cant be "anti English", or blood and soil nationalism.
What is also a fact is that the SNP have had a decade of being elected to get another referendum, WITH the exact same franchise that if it were done again WILL give the same two results.
Political change cannot happen at the ballot box, it can only happen when the elite and the political class which works for them fear retribution from the electorate.
And thats why a 3rd option has appeared in British pseudo democracy called ReformUK - and it no change at all.
Neoliberalism is under threat the usual cuntprits of Labour and Tory, the tag team of cuntery, are the uniparty of England which ReformUK hopes not to change, or to even replace, but to threaten in order for their masters will to be exerted by making the uniparty move more right.
Ukip didnt need to be a threat to either of the "traditional" parties which formed England's choice of Govt - just move it to delivering a referendum on brexit, and then making sure it was delivered.
The largest single voting demographic are the near or already retired - they deliver the policies and politics of a middle class elite by consent.
Its also one "brick rich" but cash poor - who are being politically targeted by those they vote for, blaming same for housing prices
Politics is tactical and strategic, the elite practice politics like banks over generations as a living entity - this is why England has 3 political parties with little perceptible difference between them.
And why Scotland gets shafted by English political demand.
Labour plotted to steal it from Scotland, prevented Devo so 🏴 could have control over it, and when devo did manage to happen almost 20 years later reserved it and all taxation from it to 🏴.
Still hating Thatcher?
Of course I do but I hate our🏴Labour traitors even MORE.
There's only one refinery in Scotland, and four in England, and Labour chose NOT to nationalise Grangemouth - despite taking votes to do exactly that.
Scottish Labour lied - and yet we cannot do a recall on them for electoral fraud.
Labour recalls parliament today to save the last Steel Foundry in England by nationalising it - while not saving steel jobs in Wales they just like in Scotland were elected to do.
Welsh Labour lied - and yet Wales cannot remove the liars for electoral fraud.
Angus Robertson(culture minister) is not interested in UN articles on the case for Scottish independence through a ruling proving that Scotland is a de facto colony.
IS that his opinion, or that of the SNP?
Because that puts under the microscope the SNP's "international recognition of our independence" mantra when the United Nations recognises THE NEED FOR IT in the first place.
But hey careers (and pensions) are made on promises, and then retained by non supply of same.
The SNP have exhausted every avenue "they" can think of to deliver independence.
Every avenue being asking permission for a referendums, one which was delivered, with two clear results - and any asking for another since then knowing it would be denied.
