The Revolutionary War was fought so that the colonies wouldn't be beholden to the British crown, and the right just had one man at essentially a partisan state function calling elected officials, so, public servants "rulers" of "our land".

Troubling language, especially since

the call or plea wasn't to convince young women to "have a million babies", but for young men to go "have a million babies", except they can't because women are the ones who have babies.

Where is the much belated emphasis on the consent of women?

He went on to expand upon the

idea that "our land", presumably referring only to citizens whose citizenship he personally approves of, must be "taken back" by "sword"..

But god doesn't install a "godly govt" in a democracy. That would be a theocracy.

A democratic govt is elected by citizens of all faiths.

This vocab that Johnson used to call elected officials "rulers of nations", again, as if they have the mandate of heaven, is backwards and dangerous.

The king/crown/throne language in the New Testament is there specifically to establish an unexceptional, nonphysical kingdom of

unprecedented spiritual abstraction that 1) everyone belongs to if they so choose and 2) renders null and void previous divine covenants that obsess over physical land + bloodlines.

People who don't grasp that or who ignore it aren't Christians at all but more in a long line

of false witnesses who seek to leverage scripture (that they don't understand the value of) for self-serving purposes.

Christian rhetoric about kingdoms is NOT literal and should NOT be applied to political leaders or earthly real estate.

That defeats the whole purpose! 😂

American elected officials are beholden to American citizens, regardless of creed or lack thereof, and should not be framed as special people chosen by the Christian god to "wield the sword to protect good men against evil men".

That is incitement of violence w/ divine excuses.

The separation of church and state is there for a reason.

They are saying to choose church over secular school and secular government. But that isolation is their bid for control unbalanced by reality.

America is *nowhere* near the pinnacle of the world in literacy. This would

exacerbate that by creating a ton of children brainwashed by outdated programming from 2000 years ago.

Even the older religion that Christianity sprouted from has a long history of commentary that is updated in response to modernity that you read/study alongside the main text.

Who produces modernized commentary?

Clergy and theologians w/ doctrinal authority.

Who does the Catholic Church refuse to ordain after 2000 years of male monopoly over commentary?

Women.

But the Bible does not have a single direct statement forbidding the ordination of women.

In medieval times, it was pretty easy to separate the clergy from the masses because the clergy were the only ones who know how to read. But in 2025, girls and women have higher literacy than men do. The true heirs of the culture, obviously, are the ones who can actually grok it.

The truth is, just as most of us have a supercomputer now, many Christians, especially women, are far more literate than many male clergy were throughout history.

The Catholic Church has no ground left on which to stand now that girls have overtaken boys and women men in words.

The power structure made some sense until the gender gaps between clergy and laity, men and women closed, but in today's developed countries, girls and women have surpassed boys and men in literacy as well as formal education. But now they are refusing females categorically.

This was always going to be a main side effect of rising global literacy - a radical overturning of the trad, unearned (except via the exclusion of women from literacy/ordination) authority of men leading to solidification of male exceptionalism.

Illiteracy is a huge means by which to maintain undue, unfair control over all, which is why it was often illegal to teach even one's own slaves to read, why wyt Dems won't lift a finger to actually improve reading in the lower classes, and why they're terrified of admitting that

the consistent leaders in verbal, writing + critical reading in America have been Asian kids, not European kids, for at least a decade now. They know it's over.

That is why crap churches preach distrust of schools, bc they expect to lose you to science once you attain literacy.

It isn't 2,000 years of "what works" but 2,000 years of stubborn oppression.

It's not at all reassuring that Catholics lost out to Protestants in the speed by which their congregations and their women and girls learned to read and write. Such is the power of sola scriptura.

So weak men, sensing that the locus of cultural power (as literacy is concerned) has been shifting towards women, double down on illiteracy, and, grasping at the lost sense of the unearned dominance they define unnecessarily to be masculinity, turn towards Catholicism, one of the

last standing bastions of unearned male power via a monopoly on ordination and doctrinal authority; never mind that this structure became obsolete lame ducks the moment female literacy exceeded that of the male leaders who God(male ofc!) supposedly wants women to submit to anyway
